Разделяю ваше отношение к подобным шоу, НО для настоящих певцов (как Диана) это возможность экспериментировать, использовать невостребованные в обычном творчестве возможности. И, хотя выигрывает тот, кто остается наиболее безликим, НО можно же и не выигрывать 🙂🙂

The video is like that because if it wasn't both of our channels would have been deleted by now.
The copyrights from this show are extremely heavy, i know of at least 3 different channels that were closed because of this reason.
Anyways, as others said already it is impossible to sing with the mask on so they prerecord the songs and have it on playback during the live performance, there is a video on Diana's channel that demonstrates what is happening behind the scenes, it even has the moment where she records the scream that "clipped" the microphone as you said, she actually moved completely away from the microphone in order to avoid the feed back loop but it still happened.
The purpose of this show is that the performers are supposed to keep the judges guessing on who is behind each mask, if you get figured out, you get voted to get revealed.
It can happen that the judges might be completely wrong on their guess about the performers but the main thing is to intrigue and keep them guessing.
Diana went on for 9 out of the total 12 episodes of the show, for the first 5 of them she chose to use her crazy vocal abilities to mimic other singers, she used a completely different voice in each one of these 5 issues and had the judges as well as everyone else perplexed on who she might be but after the sixth episode and onward the production of the show asked from her to start singing with her extremely recognizable natural timbre so she was figured out but still managed to stay nearly until the end by producing one masterpiece after the other.
The one you watched is from the 8th episode but every single one of them is worth a watch, i have a playlist on my channel if you are interested in something like that.
"Fly on the Wings of Wind" and "I Will Win You Back" are IMHO absolute MUST listen to songs, but yes, if he can listen to them ALL.
Ah that makes sense, I know that in other countries they can be more strict regarding copyright.
Diana stopped hiding her vocals at the 6th performance...check out her short behind the scenes video called 'The Secrets of Ermine' if you want to know the show details, watch rehearsals and the highs and lows of a weekly TV show. If you watch her early performances it's really hard to tell its Diana.

All audio tracks was prerecorded for mask singers. The distortion effects were not a failure, but were introduced purposefully.

This kind of show intend to use pre-recorded sound. They are unable to sing inside a mask.

hate to disillusion You, but the sound tracks (and voices) on this show are pre recorded☹ (we could see Diana working in studio on them), coz it is near impossible to sing+move in those masks and costumes. the mike under the mask is for speech only to communicate with the judges
