I love this show. Instead of killing gods or trying to take over the world ryoma is just trying to live his best life. I'm still waiting for season two.
I loved this show. It’s not a normal isekai. Not an OP hero that gets a harem of fan-service providing women. He’s simply a guy that used his ingenuity. Helps having the mind of a grown man with more knowledge than any kid. He lived his life peacefully, a life he didn’t have before. His experimenting with his abilities is so cool. So many uses for slimes. I think we all wish we had them to clean up for us. Too bad we don’t have those brown ones to take care of our trash… and sewage. And his budding relationship with Elaria is so cute. He gets a second chance to have a childhood crush and actually have her like him back. I hope we see more of their budding romance should we get another season. I’m not opposed to a time skip either. But this wholesome, innocent childhood phase is really refreshing.
There is really unlikely to be a large time skip based on the novels. Adaptations tend to just go to the immediate next few novels when a second season is made and even the latest volumes that would be for like a 4th season are not too far forward from season 1/ volumes 1-3

I love wholesome guilty pleasures like this. If you guys ever need a wholesome romance on this level - I highly suggest Tonikawa: Over the Moon. Its basically a young couple's journey of their wedded life.

Dont get me wrong though, it is by no means boring but being a young wedded couple - they have to learn so much from scratch especially since they are basically like geniuses of their own fields but clueless on others. If I have to say its more akin to a tsurezure children or horimiya in terms of storytelling. Also the manga its based on is not yet finished so there isnt any true ending yet.

I really REALLY like it because of this, like, hes in another world, complete with beauty and magic, whats wrong in just wanting to have a normal peaceful life with some slimes? I if were in his place (able to do magic and all), i would do the same I also really like how he handles his secrets, like, he makes a fake backstory and stick with it, and theres no reason for him to tell people that "hey, so, its actually not true" (hope it makes sense)

I read the light novel a lomg time ago unfortunately it got cancelled. Glad to see it got adapted to anime though. It's pretty wholesome and slow paced. Legit just a slice of life anime with some magic background

You must be a criminal! Quick, grab the plot-device crystal ball that will allow us to forcibly interject ourselves into your life whether you want it or not!" It was cringe. But then again, if society has become so paranoid that orphaned children are automatically suspected of being criminals, then Ryoma really was better off living alone. But those slimes are so cute! 💖🤗💖
I just watched this anime yesterday and I loved it. It's an isekai with an actual adult protag and no demon king or anything. That scene when he gets home after cleaning the public restrooms was so damn touching it almost made me cry. (｡ŏ﹏ŏ)

He IS relatively OP, he doesn't do combat as a specialization,but beat out a dozen or more middle-lower tier adventurers with no injuries
