How I found your channel: it just appeared in my recommendations one day. I'm not subscribed to that many book discussion channels (I think only three) but I'm always looking for ones that discuss classics and literary fiction and NO middle grade or YA books and where the speakers have a good speaking ability or are compelling in some way. For some reason these are surprisingly hard to find, at least in my experience. One reason why people may click less on videos that discuss a single book - they might want to read the book in the future, and don't want spoilers.

It’s interesting to get recommended a milestone special, but 500 still feels like I might be getting in on the ground floor; I’ll be sticking around regardless. Since you’re getting into poetry and are Dutch, I would highly recommend the Nacht van de Poëzie tomorrow, though I’m sure it’s sold out by now if it wasn’t on your radar already. There’s always next year in that case!

Do you like historical fiction? Like The Three Musketeers, Quo Vadis or The Gods Thirst ( this latter is a novel about the revolutionary terror in France, Robespierre ,his gang and all)?
I do love historical fiction, The Three Musketeers particularly is very high on my priority list! Sadly I also do want to read it in original French, so I need to work on my French skills first...
