Most of the conversations over discord are held in a way where it's open to whomever wants to jump in. (You'll hopefully able to tell when a convo is not meant for you jump in) join in the conversation enough times and in the end it sorta just becomes natural that you all become friends. It is very hard to know when you can get your foot in the door at the start tho.
@@DrackenSlayer just kinda weird it feels like if you went up to a random table in hs and just sat there uninvited. Like ik some ppl did that to make friends but I never did. I'm only ever in irls or invite only dcs where I generally know people. Not to mention the weirdness of how people can be on discord (just judging from text chats)
