Wow, when you opened up with this microwave situation, mine makes for annoying beeps four times to tell me that it’s done. One nice sounding chime would be enough. What are these designers of this stuff? Think we are idiots?
Brian you’re making a lot of fair points around what Schneider has done well, but unfortunately he’s built a team with a fatal flaw. I have hope he can fix the o line but as it stands now the team can’t be for real until it markedly improves.
If DT is an important position and the talent level is significantly increasingly that’s understandable, however the player directly across from the DT needs to be able to compete and not an inferior player who does not stand a chance.
Agree, but there are very few great DTs. That’s why they command such high prices. There’s far more plentiful edge rushers which makes tackle the higher prices spot still. Also, IOL can be helped more
Brian we don't have alot of Bears in your area maybe none i don't know for sure, but be alert out there hiking and you should probably have bear spray just in case a black bear can absolutely shred you .
My issue with Schneider is the bare-minimum approach when it comes to the O-Line and his trades in the offseason... in that regard he just hasn't delivered. In fact, he barely trades for players that have been long time contributors. Not to forget that he overpais (the own) guys like Dissly, Diggs, Adams, Greg Olsen, Fant and Jones way too often. The drafting before 2022 has also been aweful: Penny, Collier, D Eskridge, Ifedi... so many misses I just think he's gettig too cute way too often and is reputation is better than his results...
Penny was often hurt but when healthy he was a literal generational talent at RB. can't blame a gm for player health, especially when the player has a perfect health record like Penny did
@@meisterwindu1141 yea hold on penny was a great draft pick he just had terrible luck with injuries and the only reason people hate the dwayne pick is because of creed Humphrey being there
@ not true: Penny had 4 good games in the end of his stretch but besides that he's been outplayed by 7th round pick Chris Carson. And the Eskridge pick is just an aweful one in every possible way. He has 100 yards in his 3 years as beeing a Seahawk 😂 and on top of that they passed on Creed Humphrey who was a big position of need ...
@@mikeygaming9402 various outlets had us taking Humphrey. we needed a center as well. The Eskridge pick was awful from the get go. He was an old, short and injury prone gadget receiver who never took over a starting spot even as a slot or a return specialist. Spent all 3 years of his career being off the field due to injury or otherwise, lacking production or playing time because he sucked, or just being entirely unremarkable. Worst pick of the Schneider era
Kyle Shanahan the offensive mind/OC is top 3. Kyle Shanahan the head coach?? He dont have the soft skills. He doesnt even know the overtime rules in the super bowl.
I think Schneider is inextricably tied to the Offensive Coordinator and O-line at this point. If he sticks with Grubb and does the same thing they've done the same strategy and process of the past decade (e.g. sticking for multiple years with OCs who don't have a special scheme or talent) and waste years on clearly mediocre OC and O-line processes, then JC will get carried out to sea by that negative tide . . . . . . . . . . the best model is for Schneider is to look 1st for a recently former HC who was hired as HC because he had an "IT" factor as an OC. Such a guy will likely not soon run away to become a new HC again. This way you get an OC who has above average qualities who isn't likely to run away to be an HC. If you can't find that guy, then you need to identify younger guys who can demonstrate that they have special qualities they can grow into. And then you try these younger guys over and over until one sticks. One or the other is the only way to go when you have a DC guy as your Head Coach. And Schneider at this point will be judged by this . . . . . 'cause it's endless mediocrity until JC can find this recipe.
John Schneider pet talk Brain this week , to start fix his reputation for the flawed pics and being cheap on the O line, this podcast is turning into Mike Salk , spokesperson for the team
Giving Schneider credit for Geno signing when it was Pete all the way and all John has ever done at every presser is go out of his way to insult Geno for shits and giggles is insane.
2 hours well spent. Made my drive from PHX to FLG fly by. Thanks for the Hawks conversation, fellas.
Thanks for listening!
Cobe Bryant has been a great value.
Super Bowl 2025 baby!!!💚💙🦅 Geno all the way🙌🏻

Damien Lewis has been solid.

Thanks! I’ve got bear spray
Just being honest i would hope there nice for being like 400-500$ pretty pricey
They are super pricey. But they are really high quality. I’m impressed

The team could find a much better spokesperson.

Has Schneider talked bad on Geno?
He has made some bad moves. Overdrafting drafting 2 RBs with the #2 etc.
