didn't know you were a rap fan. I had read the video's title but got very surprised when I heard 'i am patently waiting for an opponent to explode on". I've been listening to this 50 cent song a lot recently. Big fan of the whisper and when you tell stories making pieces talk.

I really like the idea of lights off/low light. However, it is a bit difficult to see the black pieces when at the lowest brightness on my phone. Maybe an in between using warm and easy-on-the-eyes colors would be good if possible.
This is very relaxing in its own right though. I can still tell where everything goes and it’s super sleep friendly.
Also loving the asmr sounds/word repetition!
Edit: after seeing the lighting change after around the first hour, I think the dark is great!
I think the lighting is perfect in this one. Watching on a TV in the dark before bed is much easier this way.

I usually watch your videos to fall asleep but I ended up watching the first game during dinner. I think there was a cool sacrifice on f2 with the knight instead of defending your knight with the bishop. Love the videos man keep it up

I just love this video and this channel. For me, the stories about chess and chess games are the fun part. It's nice that there are different ways to appreciate the game. I agree that the win-loss result is just a little minute of it, but of course it is supremely important for competitive professionals.

when I go on youtube, your new uploads us the first things I look for and the algorithm knows me and put you on top. I'm don't like the new rapping part, builds up tension for me.. Love your soft voice and whisper voice. That relaxes me.
The best lightning you had in my opinion. was when you had the Red light behind the Black pieces and Blue light behind the white pieces. that was 10/10 Awesome. Loved that setup. No that fan of the sideways blue/pink ish.
I really like that you have that type of lightning instead of the regular light. When you turned off and had normal light, I remembered how much I appreciated the cozy lights. So it was good in some way too. I took the cozy light for granted, gotta be reminded to appreciate it!

Asmr chess I need your help! I LOVE your sicilian dragon and Budapest defense videos - my (still low) rating is steadily rising and I feel so confident playing as black, but I can't find a consistent opening I like with white! Maybe a video on a good opening for low elo players (I am aware there are lots) would be great
I personally play the fried liver Italian game. It is really effective as a low elo player. If it is declined you can also just play the giecco piano or modern attack. They all start e4, e5, kf3, kf6, bc4

Great video. If i remember correctly you have some old videos when just playing online with a crackling fireplace behind the chess. The cozy vibe of this one could be cool to have a fire nearby or even just the crackling, like off to the side. Just a thought

That first game was amazing. I think in a way putting the pieces back at the end said more than the gane itself, just seeing how much further your pieces were moved from their original squares then your opponents! Amazing!

Briliant vid as always. just a question that kept me up. at 41:34 why move the knight back to E5 and not capture the bishop at H6 ? both moves defend F7, but you get what seems to me a free capture.
There is a very sophisticated, high-level explanation for this… Which is… That I actually just missed it. I do play that move a little later though. Nice find!

At 1hr 28mins 45seconds you could have played 4.f4 and played a nice version of a vienna/king's gambit where black has not played the best. Lots of people know how to counter the KG but not a KG/vienna hybrid!
