The greatest stand up cominc of all time, bar none. Miss you Ken and it was an honour to shake your hand and thankyou for the amazing show you did at age 87.
I seen Doddy live twice. I swear to God, He was on stage for 4 hours the first time I seen him and 3 hours the next. He was a funny funny man. A true genuine talent.
Even when he was still clearly very ill, he found time to express his gratitude, and crack a few jokes.Such a humble man , who made millions of people happy.
What a great man , saw ken a few years ago in Southend , the show went on and on and on ....and on and on and Ken still kept coming back , he was hilarious and the show is something I’ll long remember , always heard how good ken was but to see him and share a wonderful night is some I’ll treasure those few hours with a true all time great , RIP ken .
I saw him for the first time in 2017 - The show lasted a while! :-) He had a wonderful outlook on life that we could all learn from - R.I.P Sir Ken Dodd
I saw him at the Pier Theatre at Bognor Regis in 1980, and it was one of the best and funniest shows I remember seeing. RIP Ken, you lit up the world with happiness and fun. You will be missed with fondness in the hearts of all who watched you.
Thanks sir ken loved your late shows going home happy you did get your money’s worth with your ticket on a night out with mr Dodd missed and sad not to be seeing you again I’ll be watching some of your shows my respect to you and I allways go to your statue in Liverpool when I’m in Liverpool here’s to sir ken Dodd 🎤
It seemed like the WHOLE population of Liverpool were lining the streets for Sir Ken's funeral. Such was the respect and admiration for this unique human being.
I managed to see him for the first time a few years before he died. What a priviledge and a great night. I left as I was tired (I'm in my thirties and was sat down), and he kept on till lord knows how long. I really wish I had stayed now. I guess I just thought he'd live forever. Savour every moment hey.
And 13 days later he passed away. So, he's now somewhere up there in Heavenly Knotty Ash. Yes, Ken, you were for me one of the funniest men I've ever seen. Today's so-called comedians don't come anywhere near you. RIP funny man!!
A great entertainer. Only wish now that I had went and watched him live.. I had the chance but the last train was 11pm and we all know what Ken was like on stage! lol. R.I.P.
Typical of Doddy. Time for everyone and still cracking gags. Touching to see the moment with his tickling stick and the little girl Sienna. She won't know who Ken Dodd is, but one day she will !
Good night God bless you ken .used to love seeing him in newbrighton floral pavilion won't be the same with you what wonderful man even used to do Christmas panto for the dockers kids .they threw the mould away when they made the king of knotty Ash missed awfull
I saw him live in Blackpool in the 1980s. I cannot remember anything about the show other than being in hysterics from start to finish. I was a cocky teenager at the time and thought he was going to be lame because he had a tickling stick and diddy-men, and he wasn’t a ‘blue’ or ‘edgy’ comedian that typically appealed to my teenaged-self. But he was brilliant, and I don’t think I have ever seen a comedian live who has made me laugh as hard or as long.
To be fair, Sir Ken didn't look very well, even after a hospital discharge...Perhaps, the bed managers were looking him fucked out on the streets, to meet NHS bedding targets for the next month...Throughly vile!!!! 😔😔😔
@@levimacdonald5188 he had emphysema for years..He carried on regardless..Miss him ao much ..remember watching him with the family ,and had us in stitches..RIP Sir Ken xx

What a truly remarkable man he was. The world could do with a few more like him.
diddy
So it turns out that if you bang two halves of a horse together, it doesn’t make the sound of a coconut.
We could do with a few more like him, but there will never be another.
