Oh my goodness! This is so powerful and relevent in our day! "...if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." Alma 48:17 I ponder how much we need men like this today. How can the world change for the better as we each strive to be like this in our own battles against evil.
I've always been taught that the scriptural battles were physical while our battles will be spiritual. What makes us so confident that ours won't also be literal/physical?
Moroni wouldn’t kill drunk Lamanites but Nephi killed drunken Laban. I realize Nephi killed Laban under commandment by God. Still, I am glad I’ve never been asked to do something that difficult.
Thanks, as always, for these gospel discussions. They're a wonderful addition to my scripture study.
