I still can't believe that SoaD is considered 'Nu-Metal', lol. There really is no category for them aside from that they're heavy. Their Armenian musical influence pretty much separates them from everyone else.
Is anyone else as conflicted as I am? On one hand, I'm impressed with how accurately he got their sound. On the other hand, he pointed out how silly SOAD was and now I feel kinda dumb.
This is one of the more successful speedruns to date. Up there with the Megadeth one... Maybe it's got something to do with the subject matter being animals? This is exactly like something SOAD might slap on their album that only their biggest fans have ever heard.
Since this is pretty much a series at this point, I volunteer these bands to get this treatment too: -Iron Maiden -Accept -Judas Priest -Rhapsody Of Fire And also some modern bands like -Firewind -Galneryus I know I'm asking too much already, but thoughts?
Oi, please consider doing Motörhead. They're my favourite band, and, knowing you, it'll be a hoot! I LOVE this speedrun series. Maiden, Priest, and Sabbath all need to get their due. I reckon you should also consider some kind of Doom/Stoner/Sludge/Drone 'speed'run - Now that'll kick ass.
Fun fact: I gave this video a thumbs up within 5 seconds of it starting up just on the merits of that awesome Emperor shirt, hahaha! What can I say, they're one of my all time favorite bands. :P And then the video itself? Thumbs up all around!
