অত্যন্ত সুন্দর একটা সাক্ষাৎকার। সত্যজিৎ রায়ের পর সন্দীপ রায় নিঃসন্দেহে বেস্ট ফেলুদা নির্মাতা। উনি যে ক্ল্যাসিক্যাল ধাঁচটা বজায় রাখতে চান এটা জেনেই খুব ভালো লাগলো।
গতকাল হাত্যাপুরী দেখলাম।
ঠিক করেই নিয়েছিলাম যে, মাথা থেকে পূর্ববর্তী সব কজন চরিত্রাভিনেতা, যারা ফেলুদা বা জটায়ু করেছেন, তাদের পাশে সরিয়ে রেখে সিনেমাটা দেখবো। কারণ এইসব ক্ষেত্রে পূর্ববর্তীদের সাথে তুলনা করলে আমার চিন্তা প্রভাবিত হবে। তাই সত্যজিৎ বাবুর গল্পের নিখাদ চরিত্রই ছিলো মাপকাঠি।
এই সিনেমার প্রধান প্রাপ্য জটায়ু চরিত্রে অভিজিৎ গুহ। আশা করি আগামী দিনে ওনার থেকে আমাদের অনেক কিছু পাওয়ার আছে।
তোপসে ঠিক আছে ... অন্তত অভিনয়ে। কিন্তু চোখ, মুখ আসল চরিত্রের সাথে মানায়নি। বয়সের কারণে এই চরিত্রের অভিনেতা পরিবর্তনশীল। তাই এই নিয়ে দীর্ঘ আলোচনা অর্থহীন।
এবার ফেলুদা ... চোখ, মুখ, চেহারা নিয়ে প্রথম থেকেই added advantage ছিলো। কিন্তু, ফেলুদার চরিত্রের কণ্ঠ এবং কথার প্রক্ষেপণ যে কাঠিন্য ও আত্মবিশ্বাস দাবি করে তার অভাব প্রতি মুহূর্তে কানে লাগছিলো।
এই ভাবটা ধরার জন্য চরিত্রে ঢোকা দরকার এবং এর জন্য কিন্তু ফেলুদার বইগুলো পড়াই যথেষ্ট। ইন্দ্রনীলবাবুর মতো অভিজ্ঞ অভিনেতার থেকে অনেক বেশি আশা ছিলো।
পরাণ, সুভাশিষ, সাহেব অসামান্য!
বাকি থাকলো গল্পের চিত্রায়ন ... As usually ভালো।
পরিশেষে আগামীদিনের জন্য জন্য ফেলুদা ও জাটায়ুর দীর্ঘমেয়াদী দাবিদার কে এই আলোচনা এসেই যায়।
ফেলুদা চরিত্রে আবিরকে দেখে ঠিক একই অনুভূতি হয়েছিলো যেটা ইন্দ্রনীলকে দেখার পর হলো।
অনির্বাণ খুব সফল ভাবে ব্যোমকেশ করছে। অহেতুক ফেলুদার চরিত্রে এসে ব্যোমকেশ ইমেজটা নষ্ট না হওয়াই কাম্য।
তাই এই মুহূর্তে টোটাকে ছাড়া ফেলুদার চরিত্রে আর কাউকেই ভাবা যাচ্ছে না।
জটায়ু একেনবাবুর ভারে হাঁসফাঁস করছিলো। অভিজিৎবাবু জটায়ুকে সেই চাপ মুক্ত করেছেন। ওনাকে ধন্যবাদ। এই জটায়ু যথেষ্ট সাবলীল ভাবে গল্পের জটায়ু হওয়ার চেষ্টা করেছেন। সব থেকে বড় কথা উনি সন্তোষ দত্তের ধার পাশ মাড়ানোর চেষ্টা করেননি। যা অজেয় তার পিছনে না ছোটাই ঠিক। আর এখানেই উনি বাজিমাৎ করেছেন।

সন্দীপ বাবু কে অনুরোধ আপনি প্রতি দুই বছর অন্তর ফেলুদা আনুন। পারলে বড়দা কে নিয়ে সিনেমা করুন।

100% gentleman Mr. Sandip Ray conveyed his thoughts very clearly. 1 thing I fully agree with him about the rights of some works to be kept within the family to avoid unjustified distortion. About the new Feluda trio he is 100% successful.

also use of the mobile, it was Completely unnecessary, because if u want to show mobile & make Feluda as part of this era then u need lot of changes in the scripts as well..
Feluda sud be a hero of 70's or 80's, let the stories be classic & set in the old era only!!

আমি সিনেমা হলে গিয়ে দেখছি। ভেবে ছিলাম নতুন জটায়ু সিনেমাটার week point হবে কিন্তু তা একেবারেই হয়নি বরং তোপসে একটু দুর্বল ছিল।কে কি বলল কান দেবেন না ,আমি ছোটো বেলা থকেই ফেলুদা ভক্ত আমার ফোনের ringtone টা 15বছর ধরে ফেলুদা থিম, আমার তো নতনরূপে এই ফেলুদা টিমকে ভালোই লেগেছে।👍আবার অপেক্ষায় রইলাম, অভিযোগ একটাই বেশি সময় লাগাবেন না 🙏

With due respect to Sandip Ray, there is no doubt that you are a good personality. After listening to this interview , I respect you more. One request to you sir, kindly make one best movie of your life. About you and your father no comparison is needed. You are still alive, in a modern era and you have more capacity to make good films. In India lot of good films are possible in low budget e.g. Kantara, you can do better films than that. Feluda is going good but still there is areas you can improve. Indraneel is not a bad choice for you to present him as Feluda. We welcome him with respect to your choice. As a film maker you have lot of experience only we miss the modern world techniques in your films which new age viewers are becoming used to watch in films. Thanks 🙏

I have not watched Hatyapuri but will surely. I look forward to seeing the new Feluda. I believe Indranil has that screen presence to pull off the role. However, personally speaking, I thought Tota was an absolute disaster.

আপাতত মানিক বাবুকে পাওয়া যাচ্ছে না যখন তখন বাবুদাই ভরসা। উনি কিন্তু কম বড় পরিচালক নন, এবং সত্যজিতের শুধু পুত্র নয় শ্রেষ্ট ছাত্র ও বটে। কাজেই মানিকবাবুর ঘরানার ছবি ভালো লাগলে সন্দীপ বাবুর ছবি ও ভালো লাগবে।

- Indranil is fabulous. He can be first choice for feluda character in long run.
- Jotayu need to be improved in two areas. His physique is not suitable. He looks like Bengali busines man. He needs to be more slim. His dialogue throwing is also rhythmic not natural. But his advantage is his innocent face and Dumbo look.
- story telling way is very bad and no compactness seen
- art direction is weak.
Sandip Ray could change some areas for film. A story and a film are both totally different.

In my opinion Indranil is by far the best Feluda we've ever seen or will see. His toughness is unparalleled. Not even our legend Soumitra Chatterjee or cine icon Sabyasachi Chakraborty had had this tough appearance. We just lament that Indranil hasn't yet got his due rank in the world of Indian cinema.
