I've never been a Salvation Army person myself but I'm getting to like you more and more every day your the only church that seem to care and showing an interest in the poor destitute and mainly homeless people especially territory house Northern, Ireland.....I have all ways followed and believe that the poor are more important than the rich and the middle classes,, your church seems to be doing more than its fair share to help the poor and the homeless. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I saw the the new influx of First Year Cadets, on Saturday just past. It was put up on the 'Salvation Army's TH-cam Channel,' signifying that special occasion. It's been a busy year for the Army with the selection, of a new General, through the High Council. And of course the annual Officer commissioning, & the continuing work at home, & overseas. But the special service on Saturday evening, at the 'William Booth College' gave us a chance there, & around the world, through the Internet, to watch & to listen in.The importance of seeing these important meetings, helps us to connect with the Army, & by doing this we are connecting with God. God speaks of our world by calling it the 'Earth,' never the 'World' because of the Babylonian concepts, that is interwoven around it. The Earth as in 'Planet Earth,' an important paraphrase that so many, around the world forget "For God Created The Heavens, & The Earth." In the book of Genesis 'Chapter's 1 through to 4, we read: In the beginning God, created the Heaven and the Earth. And the Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face, of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.The beginning of the earth, the beginning of time, hard to comprehend now looking at the world we have created. What we have wrought to the world Kane & Abel the seeds of injustice, taking the earth (God's earth) to a different place. For the Devil knew of God's plan, for he knew that he could destroy it. Like he has done since the beginning of time, the objective is clear to create an Army that is fit & strong in the spirit. William Booths mission is to fight & in his own bible, 'In Darkest England. which Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army, proposed a number of social reforms, to improve the living conditions, of the poor in Victorian England. Among other measures, Booth envisioned the creation of 'City Colonies,' 'Farm Colonies' and 'Over-Sea Colonies,' each "self-helping and self-sustaining communities" forwhich would provide food, work, and shelter for the needy. In Darkest England set the foundation, for the 'Salvation Army's' modern social welfare approach. It compared what was considered to be 'civilised' England with 'Darkest Africa' a land then considered poor, and backward. What Booth suggested was that much of London, and greater England after the 'Industrial Revolution,' was not better off in the quality of life, than those in the underdeveloped world. He cultivated a new way of thinking as the 'British Empire,' in the early years of Booth's ministry had continued to expand itself. Britain was a global power but also showing both acute, & extensive poverty not just in Britain but across the Empire. Also during 'The Cadet Welcome Meeting' on Saturday we heard from the Worship singers, bringing such Majesty upon the early evening's proceedings. For How important it is to be enriched by such majestic singers so gifted and indeed rich, in his grace. We cannot function in a meeting unless we call the spirit, to come amongst us, so it is important to bring that out & directly, through the singing worship, directly to the people around, & both in the worship. The people also witnessing it via our Internet access, accessibility is important as God wants us to be accessible to his people, both witnessing directly outwards, and radiating outwards. We cannot be confined nor closed, we have to be actively accepting God's will for the Kingdom-Come. The ultimate calling for ministry & a life of grace, will never be an easy path, it will challenge you again, & again, & again. But seeking guidance seeking his word, both in & through the scriptures, and by seeking the Holy Spirit, for this will bring about a deeper understanding. With which you will be able to find that right objective through God, as he will pluck that right situation for you, just at that right moment because he can, because he is so able & because, he loves you. A love like know other, an understanding like no other, a friend like no other, for what a friend we have in Jesus.

How sad that there are so few Cadets. We were 96 at Commissioning. There were more Cadets in each Brigade than in this entire Session.
