You need to understand Charice is still young and she has to cater to young ones. Her US management team knows what they are doing. Be patience, let's all patience, they are seriously gearing toward and slowly molding Charice to be a Diva in the making. I myself like some of the songs like ballad, however, we need to accept that she can sing any type of genre. Obviously, she can give justice to any songs.All I know, I am for Charice forever. She is one of the best singers in our generation.

You need to understand Charice is only 20, teenagers prefer pop style music. Her US management team wants her to cater not only to adult audiences but also to younger fans. Based on statistics, teenagers buys more pop music and it is wise for Charice to capture those young buyers. Besides, Charice should not always sing songs that might damage her vocal range. it's nice to hear low registry of music and Charice can do it as well. Listen to her version of CLOWN, I am sure you will love it.
@tigretuber222 please understand that before she was discovered she didnt learn english that well, and she is still learning the language right now, some english terms she might not be familiar still.
@luckysigil sorry abt that. just an exaggeration on my part to let people know how fast charice can learn a thing or two abt idioms. we know she's a genius. i don't mean to annoy you there. peace!
charice seems to be singing in a slightly different style these days, (pop style) I prefer her traditional style when she sings for a more grown up audiences, just my preference.
@omgimhere11 I don't know what u mean by not doing it right cuz I heard all the melodic notes in the high part, she just descended down differently than mariah which is nothing big, she has the artistic license to give it her own spin....... if you think she sang the wrong notes up to the high note, go listen to the original.
I agree, but she isnt being embraced, shes embraced by asians mostly, shes not making any advances in her career so it seems, for some1 as talented as she is, she should be a lot bigger than she is now. Something isnt right, its either the management has got it wrong or something else is wrong. IMO they need to give her big songs that showcases her talent. thats her unique selling point. anything else anyone else can do.
Her next step . . . to put her in the mainstream is to hook up with B. O. B. and Bruno Mars. I bet ya this will put her up there, I mean UP THERE. If not, then some collaboration with some other artist, maybe Justin Timberlake or NEO.

Her (serious) speaking voice (oftentimes in her interviews) sounds just like Miley. At least not when she's singing >;)
