I had to stop midway through the video to comment lol. I've been watching your vlogs since pretty much the beginning and what has always been clear is how much you love your kids and how you would do anything in your ability to make them happy. Even though your ex wasn't always in the vlogs, when he was, the love for his son was evident, too. So, knowing that, I can tell the decision wasn't easy but your children clearly come even before yourself for you. Those people commenting must have either gone through some serious mess or must have been brand new not to realize that.

I think it great when a good father wants to raise his son and show him how to be a good man, and I think it's even better when the mother lets him. Val is always clear when she speaks.
My grandson was not doing well in school. At the end of 8th he started living with his Dad and stepmom. He needed the male influence. He graduated in 2021 with honors. He is doing well. Best of happiness and success for Andre.💕
Val, great job on the bathroom! I think some wanted to share their experience because divorce can become very nasty, especially when children are involved. Sometimes, it starts off amicable and tgen when finance and child support is involved, then that's when the masks come off. Yes, some comments can be off-putting and projections while others are trying to protect. Yes, your decision in the end for your family and their well-being. While dealing with divorce, a paper trail is best for all parties involved because people can change their minds at any point before or during the divorce. Much love and respect to you, Val. You are a strong and kind-hearted person. 🙏🏾
The part that people are missing is the fact that you and Dre are still in a place where you’re able to make a decision like this in a cordial manner…which is pretty admirable! Plus you both have Andre’s best interest at heart…That’s all that matters at the end of the day. And then the comments about Willie🤦🏽♀️ Just stop people. Just stop..

As a former teacher, I know his parents are not capable of helping him or even will take the time to do what I do for my grandson. These are really individual decisions.

It’s ur decision what u do with ur kids. It’s great that ur ex husband wants to be such a Big part of his sons life. Not many fathers do when we separate. My sons father left when he was 2 years old and then seen him once Again when he was 12 years old. Then seen him again when his first Granchild was born 20 years ago and has never seen him or his Grandchildren again. The oldest Grand Grandchild is nearly 21 years old then 2 Grandaughters 19 and 16 years old. There is no bond with my son and his father only a lot of hurt very sad as my son is his only child. Who looks just like his Dad. Very Dad ❤️🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺. I Absolutely love ur Son willie. He is Absolutely Gorgeous ❤️
