@@arickmccance3972 Bad take. Good music is timeless. The shit they put out the last 20 years it putrid, canned, simplistic, elctronic garbage. A good song is a good song. End of story.
Looks like this was shot at the Naumburg Bandshell at Central Park. The first concert I ever saw there was Traffic in 1968. Meanwhile, I saw the Lemon Twigs at The Westport, CT, Library last week. Both shows were great.
This reminds me a bit of "The Girl I Knew Somewhere" by The Monkees. May 3rd can't come soon enough. I'm buying this album. This looks to be their best so far.
I marvel at your multi instrumental capabilities, the savvy and sophistication of your compositions, and it amazes me how note perfect you all are live. I would love to know more about the years you spent refining your craft in childhood. Your dad gave you a precious gift. Rock on fellas.
Best band I've seen since the Beatles. Seriously. These chaps are phenomenal. All people give them full on support! I'm doing it. This country needs them. Bring all of us together. They are very important and we will all see. They're a definite light in our darkness. Ominia Vincit Amor
Indeed! The Lemon Twigs are The Beatles of today. It’s timeless stuff of unbelievably high quality, and will therefore stand the test of time with ease.
@mikedavis8008 What a boring and lazy take. It’s new music continuing the tradition they like and are familiar with. No songwriter or human in the world is a clean slate, we all continue established traditions. With your logic, Bob Dylan ripped off Woody Guthrie. The Beach Boys ripped off Phil Spector and The Four Freshmen. The Beatles ripped off Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly. Simon and Garfunkel ripped off The Everly Brothers. Etc etc.
@@Cristalskulle I was just being cheeky about how it sounds like some hits from Todd Rundgren and various baroque-rock bands from that late 60s, early 70s era. I really enjoy The Lemon Twigs as it recalls that pop, power-pop range.
The best buskers Central Park has ever seen! 🤩 This is a long shot, but if you guys ever want violin/viola tips & tricks for another video - I play in the city and would be happy to help!
Every song you release is an unexpected experience, but quickly falls into your amazing and growing catalog. Love the Theremin-like songs. Brian would be proud. You did it in a way that wasn't a rip-off, but rather an ingredient in your own creation.
I’m 65 and listen to 70s music. I can’t believe how awesome this is! Yea!!! Go boys!
I'm 64 and so agree!
5 years behind you....these guys are amazing!!!!!!!
Ok, I have to keep returning to this song. It's got a great hook, and it rolls around in my head all day.
Sensational. Love the nod to John Lennon's 'Mind Games' music video.
It's you again! 😂
this song sounds so nostalgic, like it brings you back to a simpler time. totally in LOVE
How can I love this band more? Fabulous.
WOW! To write songs of that quality in this day and age is remarkable. At least someones doing it.
Just regurgitating the 1960's...
Not impressed 🤮🚽🙄🙀📻
@@arickmccance3972 Pretty sure u listen to phonk, stfu dude

I marvel at the ease with which these guys keep conjuring up all those wonderful tunes… Like gently plucked from the Tree of Brilliance. 👌🏼
Wow, Not sure how this turned up in my feed. Time to track down some Lemon Twigs albums!
Welcome to the club! The two brothers record all “this stuff” by themselves. Genius!
First stop- Everything Harmony!
Don't forget them
They're pretty good 👍
Check out foolin around, the one, as long as were together
This album - somehow - is shaping up to be even better than the last.
This reminds me a bit of "The Girl I Knew Somewhere" by The Monkees. May 3rd can't come soon enough. I'm buying this album. This looks to be their best so far.
My first reaction was "My Baby Takes the Morning Train" by Sheena Easton.
Yes! The chord progression at the end of the chorus is definitely similar!
I hear a lot of "McArthurs' Park".
you have good taste
Yay for sunshine pop!
Michael has turned into a remarkable singer.. one of their best songs.. This album so far is their pinnacle... Love these boys.
Another Far out song! Bravo! Definitely can hear the Beach Boys influence in this song. You guys are a breathe of fresh air!!! Such talent!
I am really digging this band. You guys are so great! Thank you Elliot Roberts and Anthony Fantano for the amazing recommendation.
I was waiting for this to drop. We need more Lemon Twigs!!
It's a forever time warp with these guys!!!l Lovin it!!!
Sunshine Pop. Love it 😊
On repeat.
Aside from the amazing songs themselves, the sense of humor in these videos is so charming
These guys sound like the Lemon Twigs
I was thinking just the same thing! Like the classic band the Lemon Twigs
Suspicious.
@@Lynque2310 Definitely sounds like the Fab Two
I thought they were The Lime Sticks.
I think this is true

Brian Wilson and Carol King smile upon you forever.
Yes! Exactly 👍
I think its spelled Carol Kinge
Carole King
Carole King or Carol Kaye?
Garol Queen

I love them
Ay the drummer dude's back
Let's go!! the drummer's back!!!
Reza Matin ~ He plays guitar for the Uni Boys.
@@seurynckAnd billy tibbals!
Pure pop in the Tony Macaulay mold. Confectionery perfection at its best.
Good spot! Definitely has a bit of that sing-along vibe in the chorus.
They've done it again.
Excellent video. Great tune. Album is going to be so fun to listen to.
a dream is all we know is gonna be my album of the year for 2024!! cant wait... lets go twigs!!
this has been one of my fav roll outs. track per month till release, hell yeah.
Just a great song. The most under-appreciated and brilliant band out there. If they were alive in 1968 these would be major hits.
They very much deserve to be major hits! All of their music is so great and it's wonderful to see they're still producing.
Sweet! You guys have been spinning Pet Sounds a bit. You even have the Theremin in there. Love it :)
I'm 2064 years old and remember when Paul Revere and the Roman Legions sang this song on Top of the Colonnades. Tiberius Seacrest was the host.
fake nose eating a flower is my vibe
How can I love the Twigs more than before? Easily-although I didn't think it was possible-especially after this song and video!
Can't get enough of this album
can't wait for this record. you guys were great at the library.
"There ain't gonna be no book reading tonight!" lololol

Great feel, as usual from the Lemon Twigs. Good luck with the new music. Rock on!
The beach boy vibes are strong with this one. Love it.
I'm 60. Their sound and look take me back to my happy preteen and early teen years.😌
Amazing tune from the Twigs, Now that's a hit!!! Glad the whole band is here. You look and sound great together.
A banger!
Saw them in concert recently. They’re even better live, they all have amazing voices that harmonize so well
if you like this you might like my brother’s music. his name is Stu Morris and 'Cat In The Grass' is his latest release.
Such talent!! Way to go ❤
See you on the Thekla in Bristol tonight, Twigs - hope you're playing this song! 🍷

His band uni boys are good too
