I held on too long last cycle. This time I allocated to alts, mostly to Sol but also diversified with other Alts at the end of last year with the intent of holding for over a year to make the gains long-term per US tax code. I didn't panic during any capitulations thus far. I also expected BTC to remain rangebound here longer than people would like. However, this dump out of altcoins is the first thing to make me feel exasperated in a very long time. It's not just volatility, it's that all the learning from the previous cycle still doesn't prevent some completely new dynamic the next time that negates what you learned. People moved away from quality alts for memes? I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised for some BS to happen this cycle that proves my "wiser" plan wrong. I seriously find that crypto eventually gets to me, even if I'm cool for months/years. Maybe I'm better off with lesser but more predictable returns through real estate investing. There's some cost for peace of mind I guess.
I can relate to this and have many of the same thoughts. I have no idea what is going to happen this cycle, but I am not overly optimistic.

It’s cause everything is shit nonsense compared to BTC, that’s why BTC dominance is going up and ETH ETF didn’t do anything , crypto is about to collapse cause the average person doesn’t care about it and Bitcoin is the only thing institutions are worried about holding

@skyoung419z I'd be good if that was my approach but I'm invested in alts. The money I have invested would typically be used in aggressive real estate investments. Thus, this makes me nervous. If something unusual happens with alts there's so much missed opportunity cost in my situation.
No one really knows anything. That’s what it comes down to. There are no experts on this especially the ones that think they are it’s crazy.

Yes I know we are still up on the year, but the influences still hyped it up so much im not surprised people are complaining that the price isn't at the 100k mark yet. Each time it doesn't work we just move on to the next shiny thing that is deflection in its finest

Why they selling?
Do you think it’s likely the big three will all dump to manipulate the market?
I have my doubts of the next run up. There will be sell pressure at every point, 70k, 80k etc.
We have assumed constant buying by ETFs but they can sell too and much faster than before.
Everyone is just reacting to the price when their thesis breaks down. We have some calling for a bull run in summer and fall while others predicting sideways chop or down for the same period.
Right now even OG’s are selling. Even with the massive influx of money turns out there is enough supply. So we need another massive demand driver to push it higher.
While we all wait, are we missing out on other faster horses?
There's just not enough liquidity yet.
Doesn't mean it can't grow past 80K once liquidity gets larger.
You are right about the selling pressure.
That's exactly why there are periods of capitulation before big pumps.
All the consolidated investors are extra iquidity for the pump while also not being able to sell, so less selling pressure.

Lmao 😂 $64K BTC right now would sound pretty rosy 6 months ago. Take advantage of the opportunity to load up - it might not pop until September or later - take some and throw it into MU and NVDA - buy ARM on a pullback. Then take those profits and load up on more BTC

If the bull market doesn’t go through and the price is going down to 2022 levels, no miners will survive and btc will be in a difficult position. It is going up and up and up. Just be patient.
We are in the bitcoin fullmoon to 3rd quarter phase. Pay attention as we approach the newmoon how bitcoin goes up. Bitcoin follows the moon calendar. Everything else is pretty much new drama hype bs. Stay calm.
