It has got nothing to do with their overall, it’s about their positions for crisis. Batter mentor level 2. A lower team overall is beneficial for playing PvP or clutch hits because you get matched with someone with a similar overall
its for the crisis mentor upgrade where if you have a player on the bench with the same positions as you're starting lineup ( think having a 1b, 2b, 3b, ss, all of, and dh all on the bench ), the starters will get an increased chance for a hit until they get one.
