Thank you for reacting to Lucy. Lucy is definitely one of, if not the best young singers in the world today. No contest. She has over 60 covers that she has recorded and is almost 19 now. Every one of her songs is a masterpiece. She is as close to perfection as one can possibly be. Her voice is pure and unmatched. The voice of an angel. Lucy is absolutely beautiful, not only on the outside but inside as well. No gimmicks, no flashy effects, no tattoos. She doesn't need to flaunt her body like a lot of the young singers do today. Lucy is a genuine world class, gorgeous artist and has over 115 million views on her channel and over 650 subscribers. Please react to "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" her Aerosmith cover to get a great example of her range and talent.
If you have seen “Broken Dreams” by Lucy , this is an original song that she is all Theatre with the balconies you can picture for her. Full of emotion
I can certainly agree with you. There seems to be a new generation of, particularly female, vocalists, who are on the cusp or thereabouts, of starting their musical careers and fortunately, for we the listeners, there is a discernible difference in the talents that they bring to the table. It is fervently hoped that the equally important attributes of songwriting and creativity are sufficient and of the quality to be showcased.
The void is already here. Barbra, Whitney, Linda, Aretha, and now Celine has issues. Big shoes and voices to fill. Lucy Thomas, Angelina Jordan, Haley Reinhart, Morgan James, Jackie Evancho, Aurora, and a few more are up to the task. Anything Lucy does has her sweet tone, on key, on time, perfect delivery I like her cover of I will Always Love You. Nice show, thank you.
Lucy was 14 or 15 when she did this cover. I think, she was too humble to try to modify the song to make it her own. Since she covered " hallelujah" she is not afraid anymore to re-interpret songs in her own beautiful way. As you said , she is part of an handfull of young singers who will be the next superstars. Remember: next reaction : hallelujah and after it : The prayer ( duet with her sister Martha).🥰🤗👍❤️
I think she paid homage to the Celine Dion original without blatantly copying it, the production and sound engineering is actually quite different to the original and of course Lucy's distinctive vibrato is unmistakable.
I love Lucy singing this, she is amazing!!!!! Also listen her sing 'Hero' sung again from her front living room. What a remarkable talent!
Lucy is perfect vocalist voice and beautiful young women. She is the best singer in the world today.
