I know the “And she is a girl “ sounds odd, that goes miss interpreted in English, what it means is a reference to her age.
Making a difference between a grow woman and a girl who is young yet is very skillful.

I believe Urokodaki mentioned that Kibutsuji Muzan, the original demon, was over a thousand years old. I don’t know when they started the Demon Slayer Corps, but the Master mentioned how he felt this current group of Hashira are the strongest since the first “breathing” Hashira of the Sengoku Period. The Sengoku (Warring States) Period was roughly between the 1400s and 1500s.

The fact that Nezuko resisted says a lot Sanemi is a very high level Marechi.
Also Demons have been around for 1000 years but slayers gave been around for 500.

I don't know what the rules are for youtubes copyright but if you can, season 2 is the Mugen Train Arc which came out as a movie; later made into individual episodes. I recommend watching the movie if TH-cam allows it.
