We’re at a point in which mid-card belt seem necessary and inevitable, but WWE need to get it right and have the storylines lined up from the off. The tag division looks to be repairing but it’s taken time. There’s so much room for success with rosters that big and they need the attention and thought.
Looks like they’re building the Women’s Tag Team Division on RAW while still giving Smackdown enough tag teams to contend with! Also I’m excited for Bianca Vs. Charlotte (possibly for Summerslam) and the inevitable Rhea Vs. Bianca most likely for Wrestlemania?! 💓
I really hope a huge focus will be on the Tag Division. If I were to book the Tag Division I would have Xia Li and Mei Ying recreate the “re-education/indoctrination/abduction” story line to recreate Tian Sha because I feel like that was so new and fresh and exciting, only this time round, gear it towards having Mei Ying step into the ring with Xia Li and have them win the tag team gold. I would also put EnD together again and actually visit and rehash their history together so it doesn’t feel random. I’d be getting on the phone and begging for Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed to sign a contract and debut together by taking the Tag Titles on their first match. After a nice stint in the tag scene together, they can move into the singles division together with Saeed playing the managers role, and then later book them back into the tag division. Speaking of managers - I’d love for Aliyah to bring back her Boujé Brat character plus the Versace and Burberry inspired gear’s. Have Robert Stone become her “manager” again - only for her to lose the next few matches. She complains, Robert comes up with an “idea” and needs Aliyah to trust him - which brings in an enforcer for her which helps her win matches via referee distraction from Mr Stone so that the enforcer can interfere and Aliyah capitalises on the win. I’d suggest someone like Kavita Devi or someone with a similar build.
All the women’s titles are all in a confusing situation right are the raw and smackdown womens title gonna be traded ? Is the nxt women’s title gonna be vacated? Are the nxt women’s tag titles gonna unify with the wwe tag team titles or? What’s going on 😭
I love the tag team of Liv and Raquel. I hope they carry the tag team titles for a long time (the way Bianca has had the women’s title). I would also love to see Rhea/Raquel feud and Becky/Liv feud. And absolutely Rhea/Liv again, they were the best together.
