    Noraly, some time ago I was recommended a video of your season 6 on TH-cam when you were on the road in Mexico. And I got hooked and have been following you ever since. So while I'm always waiting for the next video, I used the time to watch how you started this season, followed up by a few catching episodes by their titles and then started to watch from the beginning of your journey. By now I have watched all the episodes of season 1 and will soon start with season 2. It's so impressive how your channel and skills have evolved. You started as a "small youtuber" with simple edits without many comments, just let the pictures speak for themselves. Over time you've become more confident, explaining your route, likes and dislikes, sharing your thoughts and emotions, engaging your community in a much more personal experience, trying new ways like drone footage and becoming more professional. Not only riding, but also teaching about nature, geology, archeology, history or local indigenous peoples along your way.
    And you always stay positive, even when bad things happen, like weather changes or you crash your bike and get hurt. Meanwhile, you are no longer an ordinary TH-camr. For me you've become a role model and a true ambassador of the world, capturing nature and connecting people.
    It's unimaginable how much work you put into your videos, from shooting to editing to manually adding subtitles in so many different languages... you're releasing content that is definitely worth airing on TV. Possibly even a contemporary documentary for future generations who will not be able to experience this beauty of nature for themselves. Everyone can see and feel how much you love your work, and I feel honored to be a witness to your adventures. To be honest, I don't think I would have your guts to give up my "normal job" for the uncertain and unpredictable. I would probably also be too afraid of possible dangers from bad people, dangerous wild animals, or just possible accidents, being out alone on trails in the wilderness.
    Thank you very much for your work, all the best to you. Even if dark clouds are no threat to you, I wish you lots of sunshine, always enough gas in the tank and many more seasons full of adventures. Greetings from Germany!

      If you rewatch the videos over and over, I think you'll see them in a different way each time you watch them. Great episode! But please take this advice: When travelling on small dirt roads, don't go so fast. Mooses tend to come up perpendicular to your travelling direction. They feed in the bushes and get startled when they hear the sound of the engine and their gut reaction is to flee outwards to the first open area, normally across the road. And it hurt like hell to be on a bike and hit a moose. Take it from me, I've had the displeasure to hit two of'em and the first one I've even "rode" across it's back (like a dead body in western movies) until he bucked and threw me off. Two bikes destroyed....

    • @franklinstahl5215
      @franklinstahl5215 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      What experiences! I've had two moose run into me. One was a large cow that hit my VW Rabbit. It smashed the front windshield and made us spin 360 degrees. I was not hurt but when the moose was tracked down it had a puncture lungs and was then destroyed. The second moose was smaller and hit our Chevy van; It did not do a lot of damage. In both incidents I was driving only about 40 mph so I was able to prevent a real blood bath. It was amazing that I hit moose twice. People had lived in Maine their entire lives and never hit one.

    • @newcoyote
      @newcoyote 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It's a grim tale but yes moose are especially dangerous to cars. Their long relatively weak legs absorb very little of the impact energy and hold the main mass of the poor beast right in the path of the windshield. The data I read said between 2000-2014, 474 people were killed in Moose vs Car collisions.

When she toured thru Guate I was intranced as that has been my passion for over 40 years. I have done most of Central America on a dirt bike but wish I had a bike as nice as Alaska.!

    When I was a young boy, My family would come to Fort St. James, get on a boat, and go halfway up Stuart lake to Kulka Knu Lodge situated on an island. My dad was a rainbow trout fisherman and you could catch them up unto 14 pounds. & 7 or 8 pounds were average. We lived on that island all summer and take boa trips to Lake Trimbla and Takla, looking for the big ones. Some of the best memories of my life. Thanks for the memories!

      I keep finding myself saying if she turns left here she will find this, and later if she turns right she will find that. Canada is so huge and diverse so she could do whole series on Canada alone. I feel proud of my fellow Canadians she has introduced to us, and the places she has shown us.

      @@randym8963 Having lived in Prince George for 15 years, and spending a lot of time in the bush all over Northern BC, and looking at Noraly's previous approach to things, I am thinking she will do the Prince Rupert to Skagway ferry to Alaska and then after touring Alaska take the Alaska Highway back to BC and Alberta thus doing a circle route. I noted one of her previous Facebook entries was marked as Brooks Alberta which is where Dinosaur Provincial Park is located. It makes sense she would do the Alberta badlands.
