When it comes to ethnic minorities ie immigrants who migrated in the last century especially from 1950’s through the 70’s, and their children it wasn’t they who initiated racism against white British people, they experienced severe racism from white British people several times a week including violence and vandalism of their home, subsequently such experiences drove them to retaliate with racism against the original perpetrators, therefore they can’t be blamed.

How about being a white kid chased down a street by a group of asian kids because im not one of them. I'm not writing victim status books based on these experiences. If a white person prefers to live among white people and a black person prefers to live among black people, are they racist or simply expressing a most natural, instinctive preference? The fact that the vast majority, given a free choice, would to prefer to live among people of their own colour is what lies at the very heart of the race issue. I'm afraid that forcing people to live within communities in which they would rather not is like forcing two north ends of a magnet together. It can be done, and although people will be branded 'racist' in modern Britain for saying anything, the force and tensions will always be there, increasing as more people of different race and colour are forced to live closer together.

      Is racialised group preference/bias racist?
It's not the right question because it depends on ones definition of racism....
As racism is one key aspect of TRIBALISM - and as tribalism is universal - then one could argue everyone is racist in some way.
This is why you should be offended when someone calls you racist.... because it's a sanctimonious claim. "And you're not racist?" would be my counter claim when someone makes that accusation. And if they reply "no I'm not racist" then they are lying. After all racial bias and racial group preferences is deemed racist. "How many friends do you have that are black/white/brown, etc?" "Have you ever dated a black/white/brown, etc".
I personally try not to be racist...but I am aware that majority of my friend/family group is majority white European/Arab/Ashkenazi/North East African.
And there are people out there who would say I'm not doing enough to create racial harmony....and therefore I'm participating in systemic racism.

No irony of course that so very many Indian, African, Pakistani, Arab and Jewish friends and acquaintances (and others), openly say they are racist and usually have 'target' races they dislike or even hate. True story! You gotta laugh at all the pretentious nonsense. Let's just get on with life, with a bit of humour to boot... it seems to me to produce less extremity and clashes than the present loony left mind-games and social engineering. How very touching. I, personally, have NO natural dislike of differently coloured people. If race is a matter of culture rather than heredity then black people could stop blaming racism and bring up their children to respect the culture of tha country they are in and not join drug gangs, carry out muggings etc. They wiuld find themselves much more scceptable to the majority population
Muslims likewise should adopt the culture and mores of their host country but that would be impossible for their beliefs and, in particular, attitudes towards women are utterly inxompatible with ours.
People like Olusoga and Rutherford wringing their hands and complaining about 'racism' is pointless if it is really a clash of cultures.
Multiculturalism and diversity are ludicrous ideas. People will always prefer to live with those who share their values and dislike those who don't.
It is one thing to visit anothe country on holiday and experience it's 'quaint' cultural differences and quite another to live there.
A holiday in Jamaica or Barbados and living in a flat in Kingston would be two very different experiences, likewise Saudi Arabia..
So why should the people of this country tolerate Islamists and black gangsters committing crimes here and let them blame it on racism and deprivation?

Olusoga is a half white man, brought up by his white mother in a white country. He's fallen for the same self-protective mechanism that afflicts many mixed race men especially of a certain generation which is to double down on the black identity defined for them by wider society as in essence due to their actual biology, the predominantly maternal nurturing of a white mother, even the inherent European facial features such as nose, eyes and mouth despite having brown skin and their upbringing being mainly amongst white people they have an identity crisis they need to resolve through a lifelong obsession with the race society in its simplistic one size fits all categorization placed on them. I never succumbed to society's perception of me, knew what I actually was, a mix of black and white brought up under similar conditions as Olusaga though I believe his Nigerian father was absent. Maybe that's the difference, my Nigerian dad never saw any particular significance in his skin color or saw being black as either noble or ignoble or was particularly bothered by occasional incidents of racism, just par for the course for him living in a foreign land

The voice-over states that "1 in 8 men will develop prostate cancer" and this is accompanied by writing on the screen. However, it states "1 in 8 white men". Below that (and not expressed in the voice-over) it states "1 in 4 black men". This is a very significant difference and it's hard to see how it could be a social construction. The fact that this information is only written and not verbally expressed can only be to an unwillingness to draw attention to a biological difference. In this case, such coyness could cost the lives of uninformed black men. Such statistics would indicate that there is more of an imperative to inform black men than white men, not the other way round. Woke sensitivity could cost lives.

We certainly don't see too many black swimmers and it's said that their bone density is more dense than the white man, thus making their bones 'heavier' and in turn, slightly more difficult to glide through the water with ease. Upon checking my father's theory, I find that he was indeed correct as the black man's bones are between 4.5 and 16.1% BMD (Bone Mineral Density) , making the bones heavier. Funny old world.........

Unlike the first series of the BBC historical drama, Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light features actors from a mix of ethnic backgrounds.
The show, starring Mark Rylance as Thomas Cromwell and Damian Lewis as Henry VIII, is based on the late Hilary Mantel’s trilogy of novels. Peter Kosminsky, the director of the series, said Mantel had supported the casting decisions.
“There are a number of parts played by people of colour and this is not something we did in the first series. I’m delighted we’ve been able to do it,” Kosminsky said.

My 19-year-old cousin is half English half Congolese and hates her white father with a passion to the point she has brandished a knife at him (even though he has worked tirelessly to provide a life for her, whilst her mother stays at home as she doesn't have citizenship) and says she feels more connected to her black heritage despite never having met most of them, second generation migrants seem the most at risk for this kind of attitude as they have western privileged views without knowing the horror of the "Home" they claim to prefer.

As well as the misleading "black history" ascribed to non-black history, Olusoga's book contains some schoolboy errors. For example, he confuses famous British songs: "Our alternative national anthem, ‘Land of Hope and Glory’, with its declaration that ‘Britons never shall be slaves’, has links to black history and slavery that are glaringly obvious and yet hardly noticed."

British Nigerians and others of African descent like David Lammy have long exploited the experience of West Indians in the UK; in fact their families were the often the wealthiest and grew rich on the slave trade.
