Achievement guide/walkthrough for the Wait, aren't you...? and Baker's Dozen achievement for Dust: An Elysian Tail on the XBOX 360. "Friends" are hidden throughout the games world. They're usually off the beaten path and a bit more difficult to find than treasure chests. They require 4 keys to unlock, which can be bought from shops (only up to 6) and found throughout the world. Any collectibles, including keys and friends, are marked on the map by a circle. Explore these areas to find them. Once you've found all 12 friends, visit The Sanctuary from the World Map to unlock the achievement. - เกม

Coming back seven years later to 100% this on the Switch
SPR1T3 Strawb3rry my brother and I got the game when it originally came out on Xbox 360 through the Summer of Play event. My brother got all the achievements, but I couldn’t even finish the first chapter, I was so bad at games in general (mostly due to being pretty young at the time.) I’m in a Discord server with Shady Vox, one of the voice actors, and we started talking about this game. I was originally gonna redownload it on 360, but found it on Switch and picked it up. Beat it three days later, working on my last two achievements right now (beating the game on hard and not putting poison ivy in Giovanni’s laundry.) Such a beautiful game, absolutely breathtaking at times. Honestly, it sky rocketed into my top three games, just above Ni No Kuni: wrath of the White Witch and just below Tony Hawk’s Underground Pro

For anybody watching this and wondering "How the F @ 4:20?!?", the boost jump is acquired at the bottom of Moonblood Camp all the way to the right after a long lava pit. You need to pass the yellow gem door first, then go down. There's at least 4 keys down in this area as well.
Yes! I knew there was a skill to be able to use those wind funnels to get shot up :D

I spent half an hour trying to do it by using the dust storm on the monster because I saw someone do that in a video.
Difference between them and me? They were LV 10. I was LV 40. I could kill that monster by breathing on him hard.
I managed to get the one over the bridge in Abadis forest, but I had to remove all my armor and augments to do it. Otherwise, I just did too much DPS.
Also had to really work to not let Fidget pull an Emperor Palpatine on everything in range while doing it.
Still working on all the treasure hunts.
i got there using the dust storm i think it took me like 30 tries but i got it i figured that was the only way

So in regards to Spelunky Girl above the Cirromon Caverns, it seems that once you've broken the wind blockade previously that it's difficult if not impossible to reach that height. But, if you lure an enemy (there is 1 gob to the left), use just Fidget Lightning and then whirlwind up and you should be able to achieve it!! You can also uppercut enemies to get that lift and then whirlwind, you may need to equip the Ugly Pendant to do decreased damage! Hope this helps anyone looking to reach those heights if your double jump isn't working like in video. I'm on ps4.

If you wait until later in the game you get an ability in the EVERDAWN BASIN level that allows you to get a burst upwards from up gust wins and press jump. you you can go everywhere on the map and get hidden keys.
pbjent Yep, although I used what Jesse said because I was extremely determined and knew it would work you can always progress onto the game and get more abilities, I only watched this video because I couldn't find The Dishwasher Yuki(which you have to look in the notes and is rather trivial to find) and Braid which you can only find legitimately by luck.

dfed324 The "massive jump" was just because there was air blowing up from underground after he cleared the blockage.

You need an air jump. It's an ability you get in the Chapter 5's location that allows for incredibly high jumps when you use the wings over any wind blowing upward.

Bopop will give you the Rainbow Gem, You need to help him get his snow. Talk to him again after you finished his quest.

It's an ability you unlock in the same area as the cage for Maw in Everwater Basin.
At 9:17, is it me, or does it kind of remind me of that trick from Castlevania: Simon's Quest in a way? Huh. I guess that is intentional

The mysterious wall chicken and to get the one friend you have to crouch by that wall and a tornado takes you to a secret spot. That's Castlevania. Also, in the beginning when you meet the Merchant dude, he said something like "Welcome, Stranger." and further in the conversation Fidget was like ".. and he'll buy it at a high price." That's from Resident Evil 4, I believe.
Second Blackmoor you need the red orb. Second sorrowing meadow you just need to hold down in front of the grave to crouch.
I can't believe Dishwasher and Yuki are special guest characters in this game.

haha I knew that red sparkling rose wasn't just a decoration, I think even in my let's play I mention it "hmm that looked strange", but I never have time to figure this out. There were too many knifehands and monsters guarding it.
It's on the way back to Mudpot after you beat the chapter 2 boss. If you haven't beat the boss yet, go do that. If you already beat the boss, you probably went the long way back to Mudpot or used a teleport stone. You'll have to run back to where the boss was and use the teleporter underneath where you pick up the lightning ability.

in the sorrowing meadow, i made the dish washer without the double jump. didn't know the double jump was in the game until i went further ahead on the game.

You're talking about Spelunking girl?There 's 2 ways, first you can boost your'self up with the enemy right beside you, just use one of Fidgets abilities combined with the dust storm to send him flying and with an aerial dust storm attack you can "missile" you'self to the top via hitting him with it(try to have the ugly pendant or nerf your'self to not kill him).The other way is to simply progress through the game until you get the final abiltiy which lets you fly on top of air currents, make sure you blow up the pillar with a fruit bomb, there's on in the Mudpot, where you can teleport back to the water lady.
MISTAKEWASMADE4live No. Bandaid Girl. The "goal" character of the Super Meat Boy game. And Nick you have to use the Arial Dust Storm in conjunction with the flying enemies, and zigzag your way to the top. If you fail, and/or they're killed, go back to the left to go to the next area, then immediately go back right to respawn them all.

No, it applies retroactively to any health you would have gotten before. You can get them at any time.

I found a note with for the mentioning of the rose *"I never fail to kneel before her rose ridden grave. Someday my devotion will be recognized."* I found that character by myself with that hint, but i can't seem for the life of me to get the door to open on this one, do i need to find as well note?!
The B Mountains i have 96% mapped out and 94% treasure plundered so im guessing its just the secret character area left so if i do need one where's the note?????
thetotalshit13 Found it!!!! its not a note but a "Red Orb," u can find 2 squares below MudPot!!!! It has an hourglass etched into it like the wall!!!! WHAT a FUCKING PAIN IN THE ASS THAT WAS!!!!! I took out my anger out on the tulk in the rooom lol a 24,089 CRIT XP.
It only took me 100% Completion of The Hidden cove, Ivydale Glen, Aurora Village, the Sanctuary, the Sorrowing Meadows, the Glades and Geehan's Farm before i 100% Completed Cirromon Caverns and completed 110% of the game to finally find the F&cking thing!!!! -.-
At 5:30, my game glitches and shows me a green screen for some reason. I don't know what's the cause, but i can't even tell what I'm doing. I'm just spamming buttons, but nothing happens. Any idea what I need to do? Thanks!

You have to get the red orb first. I have an annotation with a link to a video guide for it. I'm not sure if you didn't see it, or maybe you're watching from a mobile device? Annotations can't be viewed on mobile devices :(

You need to get the skill air pump it is a skill which allows you to give yourself ,as dust, a large jump boost on the air way tunnel.

For Spelunky girl? You need the boost jump thing ability in chapter 5
It's not hidden at all, so I only included the location on the map cause I didn't think anyone would need anything else. The area isn't that big. IIRC I think you jump up to the NW corner.
You need to get the skill that lets you jump like that over those blowing winds, you get it in the last chapter if i'm not wrong.
4:15 - How the FRAK do you jump so high on those wind streams without using Dust Storm while flying? That's the only thing I haven't figured out yet - either I'm doing something wrong or missing a move. I'm in chapter 5, have double jump and all that learned so far, only missing the Yellow Resonance Gem. Please help o.o

It's not letting me go to the Bastion one. I have the rainbow gem and it is blocking me at the yellow.
I'm in trouble with the raibow door to get the second one and the last one I'm crouching near the hourglass But nothing happen. Anyone with the same problem?
Findout what I am missing. You are able to open the raibow door After the bobo's sidequest and the hourglass needs a Red icon that can be found inside the cave.

Not double jump, it's called the boost jump. You'll get it part way through chapter 5.
You need all the gems. You get the yellow one after you get the generator and pump working in Chapter 5.

You fail to mention that a player needs the YELLOW resonance gem. Your text box makes it clear the rainbow gem is needed, no mention of the Yellow gem... Players are able to aquire the rainbow gem long before the Yellow gem.
Can someone help me? I'm trying 100% the Cirromon Caverns, but I only get 96% for mapping and 97% treasure. I've been everywhere that is obvious. Is there a secret room here somewhere that I have to get to?

I remember, there is another skill you have to get that helps you to get shot up by those funnel. I played the game and completed it, but I don't remember where did I get that skill to get propeled by the funnel.
You might need the Boost Jump which is in the last area that opens. AFTER the northern mountain area.
