You're doing it so fast. How exactly do you peel off the intestinal tract? Are you just literally ripping a chunk of the prawn out? I'm so used to seeing people use a knife or toothpick trying to fiddle around with it and you just deveined it in a second!
I'm asian and i eat alot. How i take off the skin (cooked) is just simply bite the legs/arms then spit them out and the skin will simply all be ripped off and with this method i can rip of the skin within a second. Although a bit disgusting
What a waste!! I eat whole shrimps for many years. I chew the whole shrimp...head, shell, legs, tail...nothing left. I got no side effects or ill effect. I can eat up to 20 big shrimps this way per sitting. The head is actually the tastiest part, thats where all the flavors are in Except if its a very big thing like a prawn or lobster, the shell is already hard and spiny

Toothpick won't work if it's already cooked.
What I do is after it's cooked I just remove the upper part of the shrimp and it just come off with it super satisfying though
I use my thumbnail.
Works like a charm.
