- It's vacation day! Our large family is getting ready to hit the road! We have done the packing and preparing and all the things necessary to go on vacation. Now comes the hard part of driving for many hours with a large family. With a large family and a long trip there is usually a lot of bathroom breaks.... and add a pregnant mama and there will be even more bathroom stops! Never a dull moment with our large family!

Whether there’s a book being “yelled” aloud, music blaring, spontaneous singalongs, yelling for food, or kids repeating the same movie line over and over again and laughing hysterically! The noise rarely ends during our drives.

Large family roadtrips are the best! For wet clothes you could leave them in a bucket of vinegar water or rinse in vinegar and hang to dry over the tub... ( for future times)
Traffic in SC has been really bad. I-95 needs to be expanded to 3 lanes. Beautiful rental property!
Yes! When it finally got to 3 lanes is when the traffic broke up!
I'm just now watching this. I live in TN! I swear I think you all would love living in the mountains. The mountains of NC and TN are beautiful. I live in the Tri Cities in upper East TN right near both the VA and NC state line.

We travel a lot with little kids. We even drove from Georgia to Delaware to Kansas then to Alaska then back 4 years later with tiny children. My husband only stops when we need gas. My kids do great. The secret is don’t drink too much only sips. 😂
Exactly!!! We don’t give them much to drink! This was prob the best trip yet, besides the traffic.

We are doing a long road trip this summer - a big loop from MN to Tennessee, and back again. two weeks, 7 kids, taking it nice and slow... I am hoping it goes well. After I watched your trip from last summer I wanted to go! I am not sure we are ready for the heat though!
