    I love your videos. You have such a soft calming voice. Keep making these beautiful layouts. I’m terrible with doing embellishments. I’m still working on them and your video was helpful. Thank you ❤

      I’m so happy it helped you. Embellishing is my favorite so most of my videos share tips on it! I will most certainly keep creating. Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it!

    I watched another TH-camr, and she suggested using a guillotine trimmer to cut to the edge of the print. I’ve been doing this, and I honestly don’t even notice where the perforation is. Cutting it this way gives you the true size you’re looking for. Thanks so much for the PicFrame app suggestion. I’m enjoying my Project Life a lot more now!

    Thank you so much for doing this video. This is embarrassing but life gets in the way and when I told my husband I wanted one of those itty-bitty printers he said we have a printer that prints 4 x 6 photos I gave it to you for Christmas a few years ago. So now I have the time to pull it out of the box and experiment. So then found out that they had the smaller photo paper. I thought there has to be a way to be able to print these out, and this video explained it all in great depth.😊

      I’m so glad this was helpful! I actually did an updated video several months ago, but for the Epson PictureMate-400 printer. I switched to that last year and LOVE it. But I also shared about the collaging and also how I organize my photos on my phone so that may be helpful. Here’s the updated one:

    Hi, thanks for the video - I have a selphy but haven't used it in over 2 years and I now want to do some scrapbooking. 3x4 is my favourite size so I really appreciate the info you provided. Do you know if you can print from a laptop instead of a cell phone?

      You’re welcome! The app is updated since this video so if you use it, it will look a little different now. I am planning to update this video soon. I do believe that you can print from your computer as long as you can connect to the Sephy via wifi.

    Hello! Is this still the app you use for building your prints? Just curious as I’m looking at the print from home options.

      Hi Raini! Yes! I do still use PicFrame, although the app went thru a big update since I recorded this video, so it looks different now. But it’s still my go-to app.

      Maria mejorado You are welcome! I would think the app is available for other devices but I only have checked for iPhone.

      Jayma Malme can you let me know where you finded the pic frame? Sorry. Thank you

      It’s in the App store for iPhone. So for other devices you can check the equivalent for the device you have. Android store or Google Play I think are the other options? Sorry I’m not very familiar with other devices!

    how much is the approximate expense per print? I am thinking of getting the epson 7700 for the ink economy but I am also considering this since the machine is way cheaper

      Random Roars I think it was 30 cents last I calculated (I think I said in the video, I’ll have to go back and watch). The price of the refills just went up a tad so I’ll need to recalculate anyway.

      @@JaymaMalme thank you. Anyways, I just decided to get the epson 7700. One set of ink costs around $70 and can print up to 3400 photos. I am assuming its 4×6 photos. The 7700 can print both 4×6 and up to 11×17 in case I wanted to print a larger photo.

      Random Roars awesome, I’d love to hear what you think when you get it. I have a larger Canon photo printer as well which I use for larger prints, but I love the Selphy for the compact portability!

      @@JaymaMalme another question. Do you replace the ink cartridge of the selphy after 108 prints?

    • @JaymaMalme
      @JaymaMalme  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The refill package comes with 108 photo sheets + 2 ink cartridges that each print 54 photos - the exact amount of ink needed to print on the 108 sheets included. The printer will tell you when the ink needs to be replaced. The price went up on Amazon to $31.49, or what I do is Subscribe & Save and then it’s $29.92. So that equals 29.1 cents or 27.7 cents per print. I do order prints on occasion (I have found Persnickety Prints to be very high quality), but because I often don’t know what photos or their orientation & size before I sit down to scrapbook, I find the on-demand more flexible for me and end up saving money by not printing photos I end up not using!
