yes, i'm guessing that he could sit anywhere & absorb be absorbed in that peace that passes
      all understanding,
but he has delivered so many quality lessons, so many on video,
& put here on yt so that people around the world can find one that will help.
a true servant, grateful that he has found mercy & so extends

As I have been brougth up as a Christian, I call Presence "Christ." I've never "believed "in Christ in the traditional sense; I've always felt His presence. His incredible kindness. I felt this, even as a child, and this experience hasn't changed, after all those years. Because it is timeless. And I know that, even if I die, even if my beloved ones die, they will be present in Him. This is not easy, of course. But the only real happiness is feeling Presence., where there is no future, nor past.

I suppose Christians are people who call Presence "Christ." It is their language, nothing more nor less. Well, Christ makes me cry out of happiness. I've been ill very often as a child, and as a youngster, which relieved me of the distractions of this world. Whenever I feel well, I tend to become more superficial. But luckily, this never lasts very long, since I've got a chronicle illness.

And, as I have already explained, whenever I feel well, everything goes exactly the way I like, in a way that is beyond human thinking. Unbelievable things just happen. I suppose it is Christ's way to show me that he is is in charge of absolutely everything. Not more than that. Christ doesn't want me to be a spoilt brat, but show me that, whenever bad happens to me, they happen to me, although He could solve all my problems in an instant. So that I learn to love Him, and not just His power. He is my only teacher, and if I listen to you, Eckhart, I do it because I feel that He doesn't mind. I even think He inspires me to do so.

Thank you. - A while ago I found the stillness/present moment you are usually talking about. When I woke up in the morning I would sit down and meditate to make sure it's 'still there' (you see what I did here? :D). Due to changing life circumstances and slothfulness on my side I neglected my meditations for a while until I realised I lost it. What I never lose, fortunately, is the constant presence of God. But God's presence is surrounding me; it is not something I'm aware of solely inside of me. It gives me an immense sense of comfort. I wonder if this is what you are talking about in your video.

It seems you know you are being watched carefully, brother. Does it make you shiver?
Do you shiver with anticipation in response to your environments or with intention that is entirely your own?
When you are still, how much movement can you experience of the universe within your body? Can you observe heat, hormone and pressure transfer as well as the basics of heartbeat and breath?
Your control is cultivated, just as any, through discipline and insight.
    Keep up the good work.

Meditation is not an experience. But to find that underlies all experiences. It's a dimension deeper than experiences within yourself. You may call it stillness.
It's the most important thing in your life. But don't make it a goal, which implies you need a future to achieve stillness, then you will never find it.
Stillness is inseparable from the present moment. The now is actual presence. Presence is inseparable from the present now.
    🌷🌷🦋🦋🦋🌻🌻🐌🐌
But for most people, the now is not a living realization. They are only reactive to what happens in the now.
Find the transcendental dimension within you, without which life cannot be satisfying. It's always there underneath your thinking and doing. You discover it, you don't achieve it.
God is the transcendent dimension of life. God is always present in transcendent dimension of life, beyond thoughts, forms and time.
Eternity is not a weird concept, but living realization.
    🦅🦅🦅🐞🐞🐞🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🐌🐌🦆🦆
Awareness and stillness are one single realization, no subject or object in it. No duality.
    Thanks Eckhart. 29 January 2023🌷🌷🌷🌻🌻🌻🌹🌹🌹🌹🌿🌿🌿🌲🌲

Am I making subject and object out of prayer?
Prayer should be wordless, feeling and ' knowing' only?
How do we pray in nonduality?

How do you know the things you know if you have not lived them?

It takes great patience to listen to you. I can't do it without downing a few pegs.

Maybe we are here to do something and maybe we are not. Even if this was debated, we would call it the battle of the ego. In my opinion, I think everyone has different levels of consciousness, based on various experiences they’ve had when they reached the highest peak of their level of consciousness. There might be a mission or maybe there’s not. If individuals don’t allow the ego to dominate their dialogue, this might be a topic interesting to discuss.

It's interesting to see this dilemma in younger or older people. The 20'ish who have an awakening experience can be debilitated by "how do I live my life without an ego? How do I have purpose/meaning? choose a career, save for retirement but not live in the future? how do I accept that maybe living alone is better than the standard wife & kids?" It can look like a giant uphill battle to start life with an invalidated ego.
Then, older people have the advantage that they've already gotten through life with their egoic drive. But, they have a crisis of a life not lived (consciously, just watching a movie playing in their head, not individuated from their thoughts). All that time wasted; a consolation prize (their golden years being conscious -- but, more aware of the life they didn't live).
It's interesting to me to put one's self in those two sets of shoes. The older people can't relate to the younger ("oh, I'd give anything if I had awoken at 20" but that's hindsight, not truly realizing how it would be to balance consciousness with decades laying before you.). The younger people can't relate to the older ("be thankful you won't have the crushing realization of a life wasted unconscious..." when the younger person has to get through life more realistically, which is a bullet the older person dodged.).
