It is very iconic right? Well savour that red Network SouthEast shed as it is getting taken down in the next few years to be replaced with a smaller canopy, also there has been talk for the past few years of having a freight yard in Fratton C.S.D. but that is unlikely to happen
Yeah most of them do end up empty but that does make it helpful on strike days of if a loco or multiple unit breaks down and needs to be moved out of the way. As long as it is within the Portsmouth area of course.
@@blight4959 Yes, on Wikipedia it says 377s go into the sidings if necessary but I have never seen one in the sidings, although I have seen a 153 and a 159 in the fuel point, if you look closely at the F.P you can see it says '159'
Thank you, it did get dark fast. I went to Portchester afterwards, I also have plans for doing evening videos at Fratton, Emsworth, Fareham and Chichester.
I love Portsmouth & Southsea. Awesome video purple
Thank you, so do I
One of my favourites on the PDL, it just has a nice vibe at night I think, great video purple
Thank you, same here, it is a lovely station
Another Great Video Purple
Thank you very much!
@@PurplesTrainsUK looking fowward to the next one 👍👍
@@deltic1964 It's a great one but I might of gotten the stock class wrong 😅 hope that didn't reveal too much!

Idk why I can always tell a picture is taken at P&S because that red framing is so iconic

@@PurplesTrainsUK Dam that's a shame. Yeah I doubt they'll touch Fratton CSD as it's quite a reliable depot.
@@blight4959 They don't use half of their sidings, most of the times they don't. But I have seen a DB 66 at the sidings a few years back
