I’ve had no problem at all with the sound in your vlogs. Coming through loud and clear ! The fields in Spain and Portugal are never green looking like ours in the UK. This is obviously be because we have a much wetter climate.Mind you, the climate is crazy all over the World right now, due to the Global Warming issue. Thanks for taking us round more interesting places and I know there will be lots more to come. It makes me keep looking forward to your vlogs. Great work. These were fine big glasses of beer, or large beers as they call them in Spain. Looks like you a re acquiring a taste for it. Some of the beers over there are decent, to be fair. What a bummer, getting a flat tyre, but it could have happened in a worse place, at least you were able to pull over in a safe spot. That sealant is generally only used as a temporary fix after getting a puncture, not as a preventative measure, as that won’t work. A spare wheel kit would have been handy, but then again, lots of vehicles don’t have that as standard nowadays. You are very wise having taken out breakdown insurance, which is a must for a trip like you guys are on. I’m generally sorry for you being stranded until you get the tyre problem sorted. No problems with the sound 👍🏻 & ooh lots of trekking, phew! & it's like all the villages are deserted & poor looking & ruins ect, but as you get to the town square it's lovely x I never drink the van water either, we just use it for the kettle & having a wash, I always take bottled water in packs of 12 😂 Oh no, bloody sods law! Hoping the tyre gets sorted asap for you, how frustrating.. 🤞🏻 all will be ok, & you can get to the supermarket to stock up, & finally get a few days chill at the campsite, sounds like your gonna need it, catch ya tomorrow guys, good luck 😘
Oh, my goodness I felt your stress and could gave cried for you guys! Yes, that you had a proper lay by to hold up in while you were waiting was a blessing and that you did not get to the supermarket yet because the food may have spoiled by the time you got all that worked out. Those stressful travel situations are the worst. Now I'm getting ready to watch the next video to see how you all made out!
You need a ratchet strap, if you come across those taps with a push button you just put the strap around the square tap block and tighten it up until the button is pressed down.
I hope you get sorted asap, i know its like shutting the gate after the bull has darted, but you really need to get a steel wheel for a spare from the breakers when you can, being in the motor game/recovery vehicles nowadays with no spare was a big headache and ending up getting a tyre firm out and more costly, good luck to you.
I know it`s a pain but your right it could have been a whole lot worse.I had a flatty on my hgv earlier on this year.The only trouble was I was on the M27 when it was being converted into a "smart" motorway,there was no hard shoulder,I blocked the inside lane,I was fully loaded with concrete,I was over the brow of a hill,there were no gantry signs to shut the lane down.I had to put on my hazards and beacon, bail out the nearside,jump over the barrier,run to the top of the hill and I and 2 motorway workers spent the next 20 mins directing 50mph traffic out of the nearside lane before recovery shut it down.Whereas your one was a nice,quiet,safe spot,the sun was shining and you had the lovely Mazzy to keep you company.
We broke down in Austria during the summer and I contacted the CAMC, The lady there said "Where are you" and I gave her the location from the What3Words app and she said "Perfect, I know exactly where you are" and she organised the Motoring Services who found us very quickly. That app certainly receives a lot of the stress in these situations.
We have the gunge, it can't seal a side wall, but never regretted having it put in. Comfort are spot on we have used them 3 times, no problems . We fulltime as well.

That’s the trouble theses days, it now normal for cars to not have a spare wheel just a squirty seal tyre seal stuff. I’ve just bought a replacement car, one of the big selling points to me was it had a spare wheel in the boot. I go over to France occasionally and I can’t think of anything more stressful then trying to catch a ferry on a Sunday and having a flat tyre and no spare. Or a rip in a tyre that the tyre repair squirty stuff can’t our MoHo has a spare wheel, getting it out will be a nightmare, it’s inside under the bed. But it’s there just in case! I’m sure the breakdown man will sort you out.

My wife got a flat tyre on her car in deepest darkest Lincolnshire last year and the RAC quoted a 5 hour wait to go and sort her on a Friday afternoon!

Think about getting a tyre pressure monitoring device when you get back. A low pressure warning would have saved the tyre from the damage caused by running on it flat.
Agree 100% ! We have no spare with our camping van, and not even much ability to carry one on the bacl of the van as I already have a large luggage box and ebike on a side swing hitch at the back. Some of the biggest causes of blowouts are over--aged tires (change them at about 7 years even if lots of tread and no visible damage), tires run overloaded, and tires run under-pressurised. A TPMS will ensure that you know at all times that your tires are at the correct pressure. As well, should you pick up a nail and xevelop a slow leak, you will know about it very quickly and likely have a good chance to do a temporary repair with a tire plugging kit - that yoiu should carry - and get to a tire shop for a proper repair or new tire if needed. I still would like to carry a spare, but since I cannot, I feel I am doing all I can to prepare and to help myself. Worst comes to worst, I guess we would have to haev the van put on a flat bed and taken to the nearest garage - at least we do have AA cocerage for that!

Hiya Dan. About your sound problem. I had a problem with my digital cam a few years ago after replacing the small back up battery that remembered the settings. After I replaced it my audio reverted to left speaker only, which I assume was the default setting. I went into the cams audio settings after reading the manual and found there were three settings for the audio... 8bit 16bit and 32bit. The cam was default set at 8bit. The manual said for stereo set it to 16bit. As soon as I changed the settings on the cam I got both speakers back in stereo for my recordings. I dunno if this info will help mate, but fingers crossed and hope it is of some use. Best wishes to you both.
Sorry about your break down but sure you will soon be sorted I see you are on the road to Morrello the 232 been on that road many times the cars going over in a hoop are to signify the Aragon racing circuit just past where you were stopped on the left just before the big lake hope you reached your campsite and relax for a few days it is tiring driving in a new country no matter how good the roads are by the way there is an aire at Morrello but it is a bit of a walk to the old town but hope Mazzy can make it love the vids take care xx

The puncture repair is supposed to be used after a puncture. Having it in the tyres constantly renders it useless, and It also deteriorates the inner rubber of the tyre. Once this is used, it makes the tyre unusable again. Its basically just a 'get you home' fix.
I assume that it's tyre slime that's in and it's meant to stop a puncture but it's very hit and miss, I have it in my cycle tyres rather than using an after puncture repair
Hello nice find , the destroyed town . If you ever travel through France a must see is ordure sur glane, the town destroyed by the Germans during the second world war. The Spanish start work very early as it gets hot during certain hours, and they take a rest and then back to work into the early evening, hence out eating late. We have been here for 6 weeks so far and cannot get into the Spanish way yet
We had a rear tyre blow and had to call a national tyre fixer .....but was only an hour wait and only cost £138 ....we have a sprinter but spare tyre was buggered lol ....good luck hope its fixed soon xx

It if Famagusta., when everyone had to leave their homes and leave all belongings in their home., but everywhere from the Cypriot side you could see was just dead. If you get chance watch Karina from Here we Tow & her video “We Had A Motorhome Breakdown” (1 yr ago) I know it doesn’t help you right now but the only answer for this problem should it happen again is buy a spare & keep it in your garage, even if you don’t have a jack etc the breakdown people will be able to fit your spare & away you go. The gunk that’s been put into your tyres never works.On a happier note, your videos on your Spanish trip are brilliant & it’s making me want to get out there next year, you’ll soon be down in the south where it will be warmer.

Google earth is great for looking at the ruins. As you can see a street view. There’s also a great place to view is Pueblo Viejo de Belchite. I always view the street view if I can’t get to see what I’m looking for
Mazzy was wrong about it being a tree at the top of the Church in Albalate, Dans correct t's a Storks Nest we have Photos we took when we were there in 2018. Hope your Tyre is sorted by now, I would second the Post about Tyre Pressure monitors well worth fitting and they are easy to fit.
Hey Dan and Mazzy! That mic you're using is not stereo anyway. It's recording the same mono signal on both the left and right channel. That means putting it into mono on the camera will just have the same sound you have always had while using that new small mic since nothing has changed. Keep up the great work! Now I'll continue to watch the rest of the video. Lol.

Looks to me the tyre sidewall is now damaged! The Sealer inside obviously didn't work possibly because too big a hole?

That might be true but we didn't use puncture repair so l don't really understand why you are telling us this.

You get gunk to put in tyres to prevent punctures as well as tyre repair gunk. Neither is any use for a badly damaged tyre.

Hey Dan and Mazzy! That mic you're using is not stereo anyway. It's recording the same mono signal on both the left and right channel. That means putting it into mono on the camera will just have the same sound you have always had while using that new small mic since nothing has changed. Keep up the great work! Now I'll continue to watch the rest of the video. Lol.

The sound is fine Dan.
Tap size is 1/2 inch.... over here it used to be the same ....now 3/4 inch and tap is a called a non- concussive 😉
