What is interesting is that RAT only appears in the night 8 minigame opposed to that of the others. He destroyed Chester when Chester went in his Storage. He closed his door laughing on Candy. He was behind a lot.
That's because the spirit who posses the rat..the rat actor Before he was killed accidently by the puppeter he had a habit of being drunk while at work and my guess the spirit of the actor is one angry son of a bitch

Here's the news headline, BREAKING NEWS! Kid gets slapped by a RAT!
Here is my theory behind the entire Five Nights at Candy's series:
So if we play Five Nights at Candy's 3, we see that a horrible incident happened that dramatized a girl. Sure enough, that little girl we play as in the third game IS the girl we see in the last minigame in the second game.
Another detail I found out, is that in the third game we see Rat grabbing children and turning them into robots. In the first game, we see Rat coming to life out of nowhere. I do believe it has something to do with the incident in the third game where we found out that the guy inside the Rat costume is drunk, and he was fired. Then he was chocked to death along with the guy in the Cat costume.
In the second game, we see a door with a evil face, which inside shows a man in a grey uniform. He awfully looks similar towards the guy who supposedly killed Cat and Rat in the third game. Could they be related? So that would mean he is the cause of all of this. After the Rat and Cat theature opened, he used the Rat and Cat costumes to kidnap children and turn them into Candy and co.
So basically, he is this series' version of Purple Guy.
But where is the door?
And since the penguin is seen giving Chester life,is the puppet,even though we have one

Wrong the two people the puppeteer killed are the ones that possessed rat and cat the puppet lead himself was caught and died in prison dude and later became vinnie in the first two games.

@@chaoshearts6315 basically Mary,the protagonist from the 3rd game,was in the grand reopening of the Rat and Cat theatre,she was probably scared because of the incident in the first rat and cat theatre. The Rat and Cat were now animatronics,but they were possessed by the actors from the first theatre. The Rat then attacks but does not kill the child that comes close to the rat.
