- Welcome back to Ever So Sweetly, I'm Jessie! We are a family that loves Little House on the Prairie, and in today's video we have the pleasure of going on the Big Sky Movie Ranch Bus Tour of the filming location for the showing Simi Valley! The bus takes us around to see facade replications of the Little House on the Prairie sets, that were put up in the same spots they were located for filming.
We also get to meet Alison Arngrim again, and she is actually the tour guide for our bus tour!

Kind of you to give tips and pointers and things to know. It's now July / August, are they still doing anything? I couldn't find any direct website.
That's fabulous that Alison / Nellie did the tour herself. Watched the show as a youngster in the 80s and being able to meet her would be sort of a "dream come true."

Is this kid friendly? Are the kids tickets also $75?
Would love to take my 4 year old.
I wouldn’t say it’s kid friendly exactly but you could definitely take your kids, I had my 2 year old with me. I’m not sure if child tickets were the same price but she would need a ticket. 2 & under could lap sit. It’s 90 mins on the bus and kind of hard to see at times. So really more geared towards adults as it’s kinda boring and long for littles. You’re only allowed off the bus and on site for 10 mins (only if there aren’t too many snakes out) so you may have to stay on the bus the whole time. And when you are allowed off you’re only allowed to stay down by the bus so you can’t go running around the grass at all or even go close to the Ingalls house. For me, if I had to buy my littles a ticket I wouldn’t, I’d get a sitter as it’s just too expensive and really not geared toward them, you know what I mean? But us adults loved it!

Thank you so much! It really sucked to not sit together and our view really wasn’t great, but what we could see was so cool!! And honestly having Nellie Oleson as our tour guide was the best ever 😂💜

@@mconlineheld I think they have one more date available that they’re giving tours, I believe it’s Sep 14th. They have an ig @littlehousefestival and I believe you can find info on the Simi valley chamber of commerce site as well :)
