I love snowflakes and recreated your serve board last year. I got so many compliments at our holiday party and it transitioned into winter decor so I could still have some seasonal sparkle in the house after Christmas. Now I want to work on outdoor decor and a giant wreath is on my to-do list for above the garage. The lollipop is adorable and several of those in the yard would make a big impact too! Thanks as always, Kathryn!
You can also make something similar using the souvenir linen tea-towels that you can buy from places like like the gift shops at museums or stately homes. We have one that has the poem ‘Warning’ by Jenny Joseph (the one that starts “When I am an old woman I shall wear purple, with a red hat that doesn’t go, and doesn’t suit me” They make good novelty presents as well, at any time of the year, at a reasonable price. All you need is a bit of dowelling, some cord and some iron-on tape or fabric glue for the top and bottom to fix the dowelling.
Love you and yours. When I'm promoting people I subscribe to you are ALWAYS the first. Thank you. I usually watch my videos right after I get up. I get coffee, say a little prayer asking to help me be a better person than I was yesterday and thanking my Higher Power for giving me another day. When I see a new video from you it starts my day with an extra smile. This works is a better place just having you in it. Love, light and healing. Hugs
It always makes me emotional when you say “You are enough” at the end of your videos. Watching your videos just uplifts my heart. Thank you for all you do. ❤️
One of the things I like most about your dollar tree videos is that they are easy to recreate and also inexpensive. Very often dollar tree DIYs cost almost as much as the same thing in store and take so much work....I’m not sure why anyone would waste their time. But you always come up with ideas that have a good cost and still look high end. Great job as always!! 💕
I agree. Sometimes I see videos where they use a lot of Dollar Tree products, ( and sometimes combined with products from other stores) and use expensive equipment. It's just easier to go out and buy it ready made instead of trying to dupe it
I think some people enjoy making something or at least altering a product so they feel they made something personal. Many years ago I remember my mom saying she’d need more than a piece of driftwood and a potato chip to work with when neighbors thought she could make miracles with whatever they showed up with. 🙇🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️☺️
@@shelzp7272 yes I agree with that. I personally love to make things myself. There is something very satisfying about creating. My comment was more framed around recreating something that already exists. If you can buy it for around the same price, why make it? There are SO many things to create that you can’t just buy, if that makes sense.
@Patti Rahn you’re right! I wasn’t implying it was a waste of time to craft. I personally love to craft and spend a ton of time doing so. I was referring to crafting something that you could buy already made for almost the same price as it takes to create it. I personally love recreating pieces for a lower price (no matter how long it takes) or creating things that are unique, if that makes sense. I think it’s about what is worth it to each person to pay for versus make. I appreciate that Kathryn posts crafts that are both inexpensive and easy. I think she has a gift for that. She makes crafting fun!
I just absolutely love you and your channel. I don't always have the knack for creating the projects, but you make it seem like anyone could do it. I also believe that your positivity is a blessing to so many of us. I am a teacher, by trade, though I am not in a classroom of my own after some setbacks (like not getting tenure) over the years. Anyway, thank you for reminding all of us that we are enough. As for you, you are ENOUGH as well. We can see that you truly love your family and friends, a strong belief in education (whether it was classroom oriented or in the crafting and organization field,) and the power of a positive person in our lives. Thank you for doing what you do!!! I appreciate it. ~Sam Crust
What would us crafters do without the Dollar Tree?? haha Thanks for always inspiring us. I'm personally READY for Christmas to come. I've moved onto Christmas DIYS and it's amazing how much more uplifted I feel. Plus my viewers love them too. I think everyone is ready for Christmas :)
To any people with garbage dollar trees like mine, 😆 the secret is to go the day she uploads, as soon as possible. Then, you have a better chance at finding what you need!
I have like three Dollar Trees around me and they really do not have a good selection at all ever. Some of the things they show on You Tube never show up in my stores, so disappointing.
Another thing you can find on Dollar Tree website: what departments a particular store has...when you search for a store, under that store's address will be some circles indicating what things they particularly have...frozen foods, greeting cards, crafters square...etc. So you can look at all the stores in driving distance that have the things you might want, or just shop and have them shipped to your nearest store!
I was just at Dollar Tree this morning and saw green, red, and white pool noodles and couldn't figure out what those would be for this time of year. Then, I thought I'd probably see some sort of craft using those soon. Yep, here you are with lollypops. Very cute.
I'm an internist and have been on the lookout for a fun decor to brighten the office! We have a pediatrician in the office too. I TOTALLY must make those lollipops! I can feel the office brighten already! And i am going to "countryfy" the tree ... i have vision of a denim tree for my office!! TFS! You're inspiring words at the end always surprise me and add such joy and hope! Hugs and God bless you and your family!
I wish you did those 40 diys like others thing is I don’t get tired of you!!!! Your positivity is contagious!!! Challenge for you how to organize all the paperwork that comes from the mail! What do we kept what’s important to keep and for how long!!! I get so overwhelmed by it all and how to keep up with it all!!!! Thanks for just being you!! Linda
Those are my colors this year too! Your ending has made a big difference. And now my daily affirmation is: I am enough. God is more than enough. And we do this together. Thanks for inspiring that! ❤
I believe they are the foam dice found in the toy isle at the Dollar tree. Not certain but that’s what they look like to me. I am trying to figure out the dimensions of the board? It looks like the perfect size for the ability to still have room to eat at the table while in use. Would love to know the exact board measurements🙏🏻
I am loving your ideas for making inexpensive Christmas 🎄 decorations. I am happy right now 🤗🤗 and will be using my creativity for this coming Christmas Holiday. Thank you so much dear Sister for sharing your many ideas 💡 with your viewers and subscribers. May God richly bless you and your family. ❤️❤️❤️
Love these ideas!!😍😍 Can you do a video on how you put together and decorated the serving board? Like an actual video on how long and how wide the board is and where you got that piece of wood and what you used for the legs and what you used to seal the wood there in this video? You showed something you were buffering on it? Please ??? I think it's something we would all benefit from since the holidays are near and you can make this for ANY holiday really. Just decorate it according to what holiday you need it to be. For example instead of spray painting the snow flakes you can get hearts and spray paint hearts for Valentines Day or little bats for Halloween etc. pretty please show us how. Even if it means making a brand new one for yourself to show us. You can even make one for Thanksgiving using leaves to spray paint for the upcoming Thanksgiving dinner to use for yourself??? Thank you sweetie! Love your channel. You have such a beautiful smile and and uplifting personality. Beautiful inside and out. God bless you girl!!👍❤️💕👍❤️💕😉😉😍😍🤗🤗🤗🤗
I come here for the positive vibes you share, because those in and of themselves are so fantastic, and today I stayed for the Christmas spirit and fantastic DIY ideas. (That scroll!) I'm always impressed with your content, and have tried many of your suggestions since I found your channel. Thanks for all you do, Kathryn!
I always tear up when you say “you are enough” 💖💖💖
💕🌟💕 So many people really need to hear that right now. 🙏🏻
That's probably because you don't feel like you are enough. But, YOU. ARE. ENOUGH!!!! ❤
I did just that then saw your comment.
@@AdventureswithAmirah yes indeed 💖
@@AnnEvelyn7 thank you and so are you 💖
Awesome ideas! Thanks for sharing 🌟
I tear up too! She says it from the heart and it helps me remind myself, I'm ok, just as I am. What a gift she gives every video.
