Flame lurker is weak to magic so the enchanted falchion has immediate advantage, and the skeletons are weak to bonk damage. The best way to beat this game is to know your enemies weaknesses because they REALLY matter in this game. The Phalanx Demon being weak to fire and them throwing a bunch of fire damage items at you is the tutorial for that.

Although if you’ve ever fought a slime in a fromsoft game, they’re literally always excessively weak to fire. On the remake when you die you can force quit the game to the PlayStation menu even when the death text is on screen and it won't count the death. It makes it both less frustrating and more frustrating
I honestly think demons souls is the easiest of the bunch. None of the bosses have complex movesets. Either that or they are gimmick bosses. Tho it takes some time to get used to always be in soul form 24/7. Not having full HP is the normal way to play
Tbh I think it has the hardest levels and NG+ but has the easiest enemies. So many enemies can one shot you in soul form in ng+ even at high sl and even human form

Flamelurker is just a straight up boss fight with no bs other than it being fast. The Armour Spider and it's bullshit web killed me like 20 times. The Dragon God or whatever was also a pain in the ass, seeing it in the intro cinematic had me hyped and then the fight is just...that.
As someone who bought the ps5 just for this game... Play the original, and then you might have a point. The ps5 monstrosity is not Demon Souls. It's off-brand cheerios.

Magic is super op if you ever dont wanna not try hard lol. Not much selection but everything hits like a truck xD. Especially the pillars of flame attack. That can literally almost 1 shot every boss. And in pvp its hilarious. I've never lost in pvp with a mage 🤣 even the crescent falchion is op. Give it a try one day. Its a breeze lol
Idk if you're just not leveled up enough, not using upgraded weapons or what because the damage you're pumping out is hella low... this game is by far the easiest souls imo...i know you're good at these games so this surprises me.

I did beat this game but honestly did not like it at all, I'm glad it didn't tank FromSoft but man it's just...shitty. So many annoying issues like how it takes a whole half hour to pick up items, healing takes ages and most of the enemies just do not fucking stop attacking. Every single boss in the game is basically an annoying gimmick fight as well it's really lame. The only bit I enjoyed was the PVP area because I beat someone in seconds and it made me look like I'm good at PVP in these games. A couple others joined but they never found me which was funny. And uh...yeah that's it, I only beat it via determination.
Demons Souls is the only Fromsoftware Soulslike that I really had trouble enjoying. The world, characters and designs are very cool, but these horrible runbacks to the bosses and the constant need to use magic really ruin the game
I just don't entertain them. You loom at these demon and souls games and you tell yourself, they look good. But they are way too hard to play. These games aren't accessible for all gamers to enjoy, which makes no sense to me. I do like a challenge and would play these games if they had save at any time and checkpoints. If there's a boss that kills you, have the game allow you to go again at that boss. Not throw the player right at the beginning. I want to play the game and enjoy the story, visuals, gameplay, and battles. Not play the game to die repeatedly, to be consistently frustrated, and then hate the game because you have to do it all over again. That's not my idea of a fun game. Why couldn't the devs add the option for those who want to play it in this crazy way and give saves and checkpoints for those who want to enjoy it. It's so simple, and you might have sold a lot more copies. Or are the devs worried that having the game include checkpoints and saves shows how short the game actually is. Meaning they make you repeat everything just to make the game appear lengthy.
