- A clip from a concert first shown on a German TV channel in 1998.
Nigel Watson does most of the guitar work on this piece, and makes an excellent job of it, while Peter adds the harmony.
It would be interesting to know who played what on the original recording by Fleetwood Mac.
Is Nigel Watson simply playing Danny Kirwan's part?
One of the greatest blues guitarists of all time- RIP Peter Green
This is the very real and only Fleetwoodmac and the unreplaceable Peter Green RIP. An amazing musician
The most beautiful piece of music in the modern era. RIP Peter. A guitar GREAT in every sense of the word.
Farewell to the master.....rest easy Peter. Can’t help thinking that as you entered heaven this was playing in the background.
Soar Albatross, soar..........
Peter Green had that Black Magic Woman ability to mesmerise with his musical talents.
Beautiful 👍👍👍
There’s nothing better than listening and playing his songs, you realise what a talent this man had, such a shame 😓😢
Anyone can shred on a guitar and bang on the drums. This exists on a different realm. The sheer tranquility and bliss that this composition has achieved is pure love. Thank you Peter Green.
I♥️PETER GREEN 🎸
My heart is breaking today, what a timeless contribution he made to music history...Few will ever come close to the personal emotions he infused into each piece he composed and performed...
Greatest instrumental all time.
Such a rare talent. I hope most of us are able to focus on what he gave instead of what might have been.
Today we lost a truly rare and talented human being, may he at last be at peace. Peter Green RIP
Peter is a genius even now after 45 years. I just love him.
The power of a slow, gentle and memorable melody.
Outstanding. I doubt a more beautiful piece of music has ever been played on a guitar 🎸 🎶
R.i.p mr green.. never forgotten ❤
the greatest piece of music ever written God bless him
Peter Green was amazing for sure .... but let us not forget Nigel Watson also a brilliant musician in his own right and they were great friends. Nigel helped him passively for a long time.
