  • Hi! All perfumes I own were purchased with my own money. I don't get PR or freebies, so the most helpful thing you can do for me if you like my videos is to subscribe to my channel! :)
I don't add specific links to where I buy perfumes because prices and availability differ according to country, stock, time of year and retailer offers. As with allllll my perfumes, I’m a bargain hunter so I always search Google to find the best price and I always suggest that my viewers do the same, but if I find any good codes I'll put them in the "about" section on my channel ;)
    Perfumes mentioned……
    Calvin Klein Obsession Night
    Mayfair Just Musk
Coty L’Amaint (Similar to Chanel No 5)
    Lush Grape Soda
Eisenberg J’ose (very similar to Carolina Herrera Amethyst Haze)
    Cacharel Noa
    Yves Saint Laurent Babycat
Parfums de Coeur Skin Musk oil
Lattafa Angham (similar to Burberry Goddess)

Totally agree on your rant! The other thing I find disappointing is how hard it is to find TH-cam channels that regularly review fragrances that are under $100, let alone under $50. My impression is that the biggest channels on here rarely include affordable fragrances on their lists, so the content just isn’t relevant to me. And I’m confused as to who their audience is, because regularly dropping over $200 on a bottle of perfume is really bonkers to me.

I agree with you, the best part of vintage perfumes shows up in the drydown, whereas modern ones tend to be nicer in the beginning, and then go down the hill. Love L' Aimant and Noah

When talking about Coty, you can check Exclamation and his full range, or Chanson D'eau vanilla, rose, jasmine just launched!! I do love the new released perfume from Coty, although is not a lot of fuzz around them.

Definitely agree with you on the affordable perfumes and the ridiculous pricing for not great quality more often than not, when even celebrity fragrances are £80, what are we even doing?
And yes on the gaslighting top notes. I love sweet fruity floral perfumes, and in 90% of the times they dry down to either musk, patchouli or woodsy notes and I just feel lied to.

Great collection this week! I haven't heard of most of them. It is cold here in Egypt, I only wore onen perfume them whole week, Guess Marciano, cosy and not over powering. I tried Goddess last summer and I didn't like it, but there was a girl wearning an amazing scent working at the pharmacy and when I asked her about it she said Goddess, so maybe it's just me

As soon as I saw Babycat, I was all ears!!! Babycat is my all-time favorite perfume!!! I bought a bottle a year ago, , and then got an even better deal before Christmas, so I bought myself a backup bottle and one bottle for my daughter. (I have Rifaaqat, and bought bottles for my daughter, 12 year old granddaughter, and myself.)

I have tried decants of Angham and Goddess and I also prefer Angham. I bought a full bottle of it the other day, which arrived on Thursday last week. I have to say though, the full bottle is much longer lasting than the decant I received on first spray. Not sure why, but it’s one of the best blended and macerated lattafa’s I have smelt on initial spray out of a full bottle so far. Goddess has this pinchy note to me. The dry down is okay, but there is something in it that bothers me. Great video as always 😊

Oooo, I bet Babycat and Skin Musk did smell great together! I didn’t think about the missing muskiness in the base until you said it but it makes complete sense. I have a little decant of Babycat, I’m going to give it a go with something musky! And I love listening to your chats! ❤

Just Musk seems tough to find in the UK at the moment but I am keeping a lookout for it 🤩 Some of the other Mayfair perfumes are still around but I'm not sure about getting any of them - dunno 😅

Thanks so much for your impressions of Athena, Angham and Goddess. I decluttered Athena because it was too floral for me. I have a decant of Goddess and it's too thick and dense in the drydown. I blind bought Angham and really, really like it. It's the most vanillary one of the three and has less ginger and lavender than the other two. Angham is my favourite of the three. To my nose, they have a similar scent profile but are all unique fragrances in their own way. I think Athena is closer to Goddess than Angham which is why I prefer Angham as it's less sharp and dense. 💕💕💕

The plastic reacts to a ketone in the oerfume, certain cheap plastic bottles do smell fishy due to the cheical reaction

I've just chucked away some dupe samples in those types of bottles that smell of fish!! Awful! It definitely gets into the liquid too, yuck!
