A little hack for the zest if anyone is interested….it freezes very well so I get a bunch of orange and lemon and zest it all and keep it in a mason jar in the freezer. Then I use the rest of of the fruit for juicing. I also freeze the juice in ice cube trays to use later. It is very convenient to already have that in the freezer and doesn’t seem to lose any of its flavor being frozen.
If you put a bar in the closet, hang it further back. Then you could push the shoe rack back giving you more room to get to the dog shelf and the hanging broom/mop. A bar will give you space to hang coats from your visitors. You will also need more room for coats now that your family has grown.
Could probably use a tension rod to try it out. Figure out how far back and how high up would be the most optimal for the both of them and if it all works out, they can get an actual bar installed.
Can you all remember when Becky was out that first year in her garden trying to document and figure it out. Now look at her! So impressed with you. Thanks for not giving up Becky.
Little Acre is going to have a wonderful vocabulary because he is hearing adult conversation on a daily basis. Many parents don’t expose them to adults conversing. He is already learning!
One of my favorite Becky sayings is, "This is real life." Reminds me that yes, things get messy, and that's perfectly fine, so get to it when you can but don't punish yourself if you don't have the bandwidth for a while. I'm learning so much from you, Becky!
When I need to buy something my husband always says "Don't cheap out!". I hate to spend money but have found joy in spending just enough money to get the job done right rather than just okay! It is so good to see how much bigger that little baby A bundle has gotten to be in the last few weeks as you do the kitchen chores. I don't feel I need to see his little face and know all about him to take joy in his healthy growth. Bless you all!
Your tomato slicer will cut anything that fits in it. Tomatoes, cold cooked potatoes, eggs, pastry, fridge biscuits. If you confine it to one use you will quickly lose interest. Cakes looks yummy xx
When my children were small, I picked out a lower cabinet and put some plastic bowls and wooden spoons for them to get out and play with. It kept them from getting into the other cabinets so much. Time flies, yours will be doing that soon!
When my baby girl (16th birthday today!) was crawling and toddling we were in a house with an absolute TON of kitchen cabinets. The one under the coffee station just had some soft lunch totes in it and my daughter would pull them out and get in the cabinet to play. I actually have a picture of her in the cabinet lol
Yes! My little daughter in law does this with her two little girls. They know that that's the cabinet that they're allowed to play in, and they LOVE it!!
I've had a difficult day today because all the seeds I'd spent ages saving last year have been destroyed by a mouse so I'm so glad I can watch this and feel a bit more positive ❤
That’s terrible 😢I am sorry this happened to you. There is a photo organizer on Amazon that is perfect for storing seeds!! If you just type “photo organizer” in the search bar they should pop up 😊
Put the coat bar just behind the broom and mop "hooky things" . But it is great the way it is!! You could alternatively put a few more hooks on the back of the door for company. I'd place the bench back a foot (so you can step in a little if you want. and swap the broom and mop. Broom is used more. Put a lidded trunk and shelf on back wall. (gloves and hats in baskets)
I hung a small white board in my pantry and write down anything thats empty and needs refilling that way I dont have to check in each container. Hope this is helpful. Loved the motivation!💚
Your videos are as reliable as old faithful. Thank you for the consistent content. I’m sure it takes a ton of effort to keep the videos coming every other day. 💗
Good organizing👌 Since you asked what we thought about the cupboard... ;-) I would definately not have blocked the entrance of it with the shoe rack... I would have pushed it either all the way to the back, or at least halfway in there, so that Josh would access his coats more easily, and you wouldn't have to stretch over it to get the brooms. I see that it's more likely that your shoes might get kicked off in front of it in stead of putten into it if you push it further back. But that's just a matter of self discipline ;-) You could still have the coats hanging across the room on a rod, btw. Good luck, however you choose to organize your home. It's inspiring and fun to watch anyway :-)))
My kids started crawling and getting into cabinets around 5/6 months, so you might need to reconsider some of your organization the next few months and start thinking about what sort of cabinet locks etc you'll want. My youngest is 2 and the bread blade in the drawer freaked me out a little 😅
I don't know why, but I always feel like Becky is going to catch her fingers in those big, heavy, and awesome drawers - they run so smoothly. Great idea to protect the little one's fingers too.
You are so blessed to have your large dream home while you are young and need the space! It's fun to watch you organize and get thing the way you want them!!!
Just found your channel. Love it. I caught video where you said could eat salad for breakfast.... so can I. I thought I was the only one. Congratulations on the new little bundle.
Put the coat bar further back so you can still use the shelf for dog stuff, an yourour shoe rack. The clips you got for the brooms are $1.25 at dollar tree for 2 clips on one. Also Tupperware drawer get a peg board an pegs so they can stay more organized lay peg board in bottom of drawer an use pegs to size the Tupperware so they stay in place an each has a place.
I think your little sun room would make do for a greenhouse til you get yours set up. Put a couple of your tables out there natural light by day grow lights by evening then off over night
place some parchment paper in the bottom of the flour drawer and a little up the sides. That way when it gets messy you can just take out the paper, shake the contents into the garbage and put it back. Easy way to keep the drawer clean
Hi Becky. I realized that I live close to you so I’m going to pay close attention and follow your lead for the garden. This is my 4th summer here and the last 2 growing seasons were interrupted by family emergencies. I’ve been very successful at tomatoes but less in other vegetables so really hoping to take some good tips from you to have a successful little back yard garden this year. Thank you for sharing your kitchen and garden with us.
I just did this with my bathroom cupboard. I've been putting it off for AGES. But one day, I just felt the urge, and I went and purged! Two boxes of random shampoos, soap, samples, etc. and I put them on my front porch. I did a first come first served on mktplc and they were gone so quickly!! My latest thing is to put one item a day on there for free. People will take anything that's free!
One of my jobs during my career involved traveling at least once a month. I would collect the free shampoos, etc from hotels and bring them home. When I had a ziploc bagful, I took them to a homeless shelter for the guests there. It’s the perfect size for those folks. I know they appreciated having the supplies.
Hi Becky, thanks for the video today. I think the word you are looking for the type of recipe these breads are is “quick breads”. This is what the section would be labeled in a cookbook. Quick due to no yeast in them.
I would put the coats on the left because that side is recessed, and hang the brooms on the right because you have more height to accommodate the brooms, and put the shoe rack out of the way on on the back wall.
Hey when you open containers it might be better to place the lid top side down so that you don't accidently contaminate what's inside the containers when you put the lids back on.
Becky, I have a suggestion for your drawers that have the glass fronts where your baking goods are located: cover the glass with some type of paper, contact paper or something that you like the color of or that is simple and blends with the drawer so that you cannot see inside the drawer. Then you could use that small front space for the small jars, etc. Just a thought. You may already use that area, but it would drive me nuts that you could see what is in the drawer since it has a glass front.
I must also add, I was surprised you didn't use the pull out tray under your glass oven dishes for your dutch ovens. I would have thought that more spacious and convenient being close to the stove top.
The BEST tip you gave me was treat yourself to WIDE mouth containers for the foods you use measuring cups in. Just did this and it’s so nice. I’m in my 50’s and always had the cute little glass jars and always struggled when I baked. Thank you
Amazing how energetic and motivated you are. Always so much fun to watch you get through a project. I do get Josh being frustrated with chaotic spaces, my husband will put things in the most obscure places to get them out of the way..then he has a hard time remembering where they are, and I'm always finding things in the weirdest places. I think it is so much more efficient and saves so much time to just put things where they belong in the first place..you're putting them somewhere..just as easy to put them in the right place as the wrong place!!
I was looking at your beautiful kitchen and you have given me several ideas that will help me in my kitchen. I love the post it notes you keep in your drawer for quick reminders. I always walk away to get a pen and paper and forget what I need it to write?? I also like the ideas of having a back up kitchen to get your flour, sugar, oaks and etc in your closet or basement. So much to do…however, great ideas! Thank you Becky 👍🏼😉💕
Hi Becky, after I saw how you put measuring cups in your flour, sugar, etc containers I’ve started doing that too. And you’re right, saves time when you’re baking & eliminates washing it out for each ingredient. Also, regarding your newly organized closet. If you don’t want to put holes in the wall, just get a tension shower curtain rod, put it towards the back of the closet, to hang your coats on. That’ll make the closet more open to reach what you need & you could move the shoe rack under the jackets.
Consider doing these kitchen resets as pre and post harvest and holiday prep. Also think about the rest of the house as resets between mostly inside to mostly outside. Being in the Puget Sound, the post holiday kitchen rest precedes the rest of the house transition between inside/cold weather into outside/ warm weather time which leads into pre harvest reset. Then you have the post harvest reset playing leap frog with it's getting cold reset and the year ends with prep for the holidays. It averages out to tackling a reset about every two months.
@@madgevanness4011 In the midwest we do 'spring and fall' cleaning...which lines up with post gardening/preservation and just before gardening season. My guess is each region of the country calls it something different, but it all means the same thing. I love seeing her wear the baby!
I am 51 years old and you add ingredients like I do and I love it. If you don't have something or you're low on something and don't want to use it up then use an alternative. Love watching your videos.
I am incredibly lucky in that my husband loads the dishwasher and I unload it. That way I (the cook) know where all the things are when I'm trying to cook and he doesn't get yelled at for putting things in the wrong place :)
Tip for zesting: hold the orange/lemon/lime then turn the file upside down and pull it across the peel. You can see the peel better and can get more of it without having to lift the fruit and see that you are not getting the pith. Cheers
We love those Command broom holders! We placed them in the hall closet closest to our kitchen for ease of use, too. Just a tip - if you place a small mat (like a woven welcome mat type) under the shoe rack, it will help keep dust and fuzzies from outside that door from getting kicked under the door (doggies, I'm looking at you!) and the mat will catch miscellaneous debris. Easy to slide the mat from under the shoe rack, shake it outside and replace it under the shoes. Also, a few coat hooks along the slanted back wall of the closet/cupboard under the stairs could be used for other (lightweight) coats or hats.
We’ll now I’m organizing my kitchen, wasn’t planning on doing it today but after watching you Becky & how much you got done before noon’thirty, I should get it done before bedtime lol, at 64 that’s doing really good. Thank you for your video kicking my butt! ❤️
Becky, I don't think I have ever told you how much I love your kitchen. If we were ever able to buy another house or build a dream home I would want the measurements of your kitchen and especially your kitchen island. Since I am70 years old it's probably not going to happen. I can have wishes and dreams until my Good Lord takes me home. Bless you, Becky for being such a sweet wonderful person. I love your videos and make sure to click on your videos as soon as I see you have put one up.
We are currently building our home, it’s NOT going to be huge, but I knew I wanted an Island…& I am copying the Baking Drawer’s. They just seem so efficient!
I just started reorganizing my kitchen. It’s a long process because I have decades of stuff! I love the containers you use for flour and sugar, etc. I bought some last year. I have three sets of the glass containers! I love them! I’d so much rather have glass than plastic!
I got so very excited about the Command Broom hooks and then I remembered that our walls are textured. Hey, at least I realized that before I checked out. Congrats on getting so much done. I appreciate cleaning, organizing, and decluttering videos so much. Becky, thank you for being you too :) I love that phrase and want to use it more often.
You mentioned the pretty flakes being a benefit of zesting the orange so in case you didn't know - orange zest will give that cake WAY more orange flavor than the juice! If you hadn't zested that orange I think you would have barely tasted the orange flavor, zest packs a big punch! (and is also very pretty haha). When it comes to citrus juices lemon and lime lend a lot more flavor than orange, though their zests are also stronger than their juices!
Pam here….when we had an attached garage that was huge….I put all the everyday coats and shoes and boots out there with the ‘house slippers’ to put on to keep from tracking in dirt and stuff from yard. I would keep garden clogs or boots by your patio door that leads outside from basement too. Keep your broom closet for your cleaning stuff, extra paper goods, TP, garbage bags, have a pullout garbage can for huge process days in there? The back wall could have shelves. It is something that can keep unsafe stuff away from a toddler. Smile!
agree with Julie and comments..move a rod to back across closet shoe stand under it, can stack extra things behind and out of sight if needed..that stand in front of closet and all wasted space behind it bothers my visual sense lol .... do luv the baking drawers and if I ever redid my kitchen would def put drawers in the island instead of cupboard
Becky, a much easier and faster way to grate that orange rind is to put the microplane grate on TOP of the fruit. All the grated peel sits inside it and you just flip it over and tap it to release the rind into the bowl. That way you can also see the spots you missed, too. Have a huge number of towels in a deep drawer, too, I buy them by the dozen and use them for EVERYTHING...except drying dishes! I let those air dry. The back of that closet door is a great spot to hang the mop and broom.
I love organization! You are doing so great with accomplishments in your home. Especially with taking care of your new little bundle of joy! You go Mama!😊
I feel Josh’s pain. My husband will stuff things anywhere to not look at them and while he knows the sweet potatoes don’t belong in the towel drawer if that’s the first hideaway he thought of he’d surely stuff them there. Drives me nuts, I’d rather look at a mess until I’m prepared to put it away right. Not him. He doesn’t clean the kitchen usually but when he tidies everything goes in a corner or stuffed into a closet I just organized messing it all up again. You could say if I kept the things tidy myself I wouldn’t have to play hide and seek but where’s the fun and aggravation in that? 🤣
I am the same way. I can not stand having things shoved in places. I have zero hidden junk nooks in my house. If my house is a mess, then it is a mess. I will look at it until I can not take it anymore and finally deal with it, but until then, it doesn't get shoved out of sight. So what you see is what you get. Anyone can walk into my house at any time and open a drawer, cabinet, closet, etc, and they are all organized. There may be a large pile of dirty dishes just hanging out or jars and papers on the counter, but those hidden spaces are never a mess. My man, on the other hand... 🤦🏻♀️
Loved this video. I need to organize my entire house but first I need some energy. I'm recovering from bladder cancer surgery. I'm 71 years old so that means we have a LOT of 'stuff' that I don't think we need anymore. I can't wait to see your garden design.
Have relevant qualifications in rehabilitation and also have multiple sclerosis. Look at your energy levels and do short bursts when you are able. Take breaks between jobs...sit down, get your feet up and don't start again until you are refresheshed. It is not lazy to rest, just good management. Love Becky's approach to having a game plan and prioritising what is most important on that day. The rest can wait
I put off watching this last night because I just knew I'd end up pulling my kitchen apart to clean and reorganise. Just the kick up the behind I needed thank you becky Xx
You are an inspiration in getting things organized! I, too, have a tendency to just stick things in cupboards or drawers to get them out of sight. Now that my husband has retired, he does a lot of the cooking, and wants everything in the same place… he hates looking for things! So I am trying to remember to put things away in the same place every time.
I need things organized and my husband is a crammer, so I use labels for him to know where things are and where they go. It is very effective. I use reusable vinyl chalkboard labels so they don’t damage surfaces.
I think the clothes rod in the closet makes sense to hold more coats. For some reason the shoe rack across the front is setting off my OCD. I would have to put it along the right hand wall under the coats and add my vacuum cleaner in here as well as your kitchen laundty hamper.
I feel your joy getting those little jobs out of the way Becky, so satisfying. I am looking forward to your garden planning and seed starting. I spent some time doing that myself this year, but we have had the worst, wettest summer on record here in Auckland, New Zealand, though thankfully we didn't personally have any flooding issues. Apart from a small but fabulous crop of runner beans and basil, the vege garden has been a major fail to date. I am hoping to get another round of seeds in and hope that our summer finally arrives. Thanks for sharing your day, always inspiring.
You are one of my TOP 5 Homesteaders to watch. I love you and your family as well as all the information you share with us. Thank You for sharing your life and knowledge with the masses.
Becky, not sure you realise but keeping the lid off your bottle of vanilla extract means it evaporates little by little. It makes my heart happy to be organised at home. I’m with Josh - if it takes a small amount of money to make a task easier, simpler or less stressful then I’m all in.
Hey Becky! If you keep the yeast in the fridge instead of room temp, it will last for months and months! You’ll never have to test if your yeast is alive! I also have never had any issues with condensation, etc.
Becky what about the down stairs/side of the house kitchen utility space for the grow station?. You showed us when you were giving the house tour. I remember you mentioning using it as a possible prep kitchen. This way it would keep the mess of the plants out of the main house. Just a thought.
I noticed the lovely sunshine that comes in through the window in your pantry closet, but I was wondering if that could affect the jarred items that the sun is shining directly on? Because you asked for suggestions, how about putting the command hooks for the broom and mop on the back of the door, this way you can have room to install the rod across the closet, giving you more access to hang more coats.
Love your cranberry recipes lately. I wish I had all your drawers and cupboards. I have a small kitchen and my overflow goes in my basement. Yeck! Moving soon and paring down to my basic necessities.
I use the tiny commando hooks and hang them on the inside of the cupboard above where my stand mixer is and where the flour sits. It’s so nice to have them out of a drawer. I also do the same for oven Mits on the inside of the drawer closest to the oven where the spices are .
You did it, Becky! You showed us exactly what I needed to see in your baking station! You are wise beyond your years, and your energy always picks me up. Keep following your heart and dreams. Thank you for sharing your sweet family with us. ❤
Dadgummit. Everytime i watch an episode, i really want to go bake something. But my waistline can't handle it at this point. I'm the only person in my house that eats baked yummy treats.
Hi Becky I would suggest switching walls & moving the coats to the other wall under the shelf, that will allow you to have the shoe rack directly under your coats long ways & still have space to walk trough incase you needed to store items in the back. Hope this helps!
I cleaned and reorganized my kitchen cabinets right after Christmas, great minds, lol! I wish I had those large drawers, we didn’t have many options when building our house, and those drawers are amazing!
We live and travel FT in our RV. Everything for food storage is square except for my 8-oz and wide mouth pint mason jars. Even my spice jars are all square, and my bulk spice and herb storage buckets where I keep the bulk bags in the clothes closet are square (repurposed restaurant fruit salad buckets with lids). Square makes a big difference in how much you can fit! We are a whole, traditional foods family, and we are packed from floor to ceiling with real food. I use square Cambro canisters for dry goods and they are a dream for me. Measuring cups can scoop right into them (I keep measuring cups in many of them), and they stack and seal well, plus the lids are easy for my disabled hands to manage. I use mason jars and the rectangular Rubbermaid Brilliance glass containers in the fridge, along with some 1L square glass milk bottles I use for maple syrup and a few other goodies in the door of the fridge. The Rubbermaid containers are really worth two or three times their price to me; they are seriously one of the best purchases I’ve made in years. I can even bake in them, too.
The craziest thing is when you said, "5 & 1/2 months!" It seems like it has been sooo much longer than that! The amount of things you have been able to accomplish in that short amount of time is astounding! I just finally put up the things in a moving box, a week ago, that had been sitting in a corner of our room since we moved into our house...almost 3 years ago!🤣
I love to see you get excited about making your home feel more organized and clean! I love a functional space too. The coat / utility closet is so nice now I love the shoe rack !!
My grandma lined 2 of her deep kitchen drawers with staninless steel (or it was a stainless steel insert) and then just dumped her flour and sugar right in the drawer. It is one of my fondest memories of her kitchen from when I was a child.
I totally get the organizing of your kitchen! I have everything in a certain place, it keeps me time efficient when I don't have to search for something. Looks great!!
If you put the coats on the door or the mops and dog stuff on the door you could put the shoe bench in sideways and have more access to the rest of the closet. I really enjoy hanging stuff on the back of the door, easy access and makes use of otherwise unused space. I use sturdy over the door hangers for coats, reusable bags, backpacks, etc.
Hi Becky!!! I don’t know if you will ever see this but today my anxiety was at a high and I’ve stayed busy to keep my mind busy and then I seen you had a new video! It helps my anxiety my so much! You inspired me to grow a garden last year and I did! it went so well! This year I’ve already started writing things down on what worked and what didn’t! Thank you for being honest and wonderful! ❤
When I reorganize my cupboards I use post it notes on the doors to tell me where things are until I can reflexively reach for what I want. Works for me ! Use pictures if you have kids or dislexia (can't spell it today🙃🤫) or seniors in the house. I start each day with a fresh dishcloth, dish towel, and hand towel and add extra dish towels as needed.
I use a string zester and if you use that or peel and freeze dry your zest all the time, you can powder/mince up your frozen/dried zests and never run out!
For the closet, put a tension rod back a little. Maybe on the other side of the doggie treats going across. You can then use a little more of the room in the back that's just open space.
Wonderful!!! Wish I had the room to organize. You made me chuckle when you interrupted yourself. I do that all the time!!!! Love watching your dreams come true!
I'm about to move house and downsize a bit so watching your organisation is giving me ideas other than baking. I love the ways I can use these ideas to help my church
Similarly I freeze left over wine in ice cubes and freeze fresh herbs in some olive oil in ice cubes, both really useful kitchen tips.
Thank you both for the tips!
I make herb butter that I freeze. :) very good on steaks or bread
love this hack ty
V johnson, what is leftover wine? Lol
The closet would be a perfect spot for the hamper you wanted for your dish towels.
You could hang a small one on the inside of the door with a command hook.
@@kaleigh4081 or one of those over the back of the door ones? We're here for ya Becky!
If you put a bar in the closet, hang it further back. Then you could push the shoe rack back giving you more room to get to the dog shelf and the hanging broom/mop. A bar will give you space to hang coats from your visitors. You will also need more room for coats now that your family has grown.
I would the bar in for the coats and put the command hooks on the inside of the door to hang the mop and broom on the door.
Could probably use a tension rod to try it out. Figure out how far back and how high up would be the most optimal for the both of them and if it all works out, they can get an actual bar installed.
Agree, i feel like that will function really well. And they can use the space behind the hanging coats for storage of less often used items.
Julie, that is a great idea. You are so right.
That's what I thought too!
I would push the shoe rack to the back wall. The closet would be easier to access. Put the hamper in the front.
Can you all remember when Becky was out that first year in her garden trying to document and figure it out. Now look at her! So impressed with you. Thanks for not giving up Becky.
Yes!!! So so so inspirational
Anyone else feel a feeling of just calm and happiness when you see that Becky has posted a new video?!

My parents always spoke to us like we were adults. My mum hated babytalk and wouldn't let anyone else use it to us either. Seemed to work :-).
Very good point!!

I love ther spring cleaning of the kitchen. Made me realize I have to clean mine. Thanks Becky.
Turn your dutch oven lid upside down and it will fit into that drawer without hitting the frame!
I would keep my pot holders in those spaces.
I must also add, I was surprised you didn't use the pull out tray under your glass oven dishes for your dutch ovens. I would have thought that more spacious and convenient being close to the stove top.
I waited all morning for you to arrive. Now I got dressed, had lunch and settled in to my recliner with my beverage to enjoy todays blog!!
That's true, but sometimes it might be difficult for him to remember where the "right place" is. He cares enough to be "helpful".
Could you push the shoe rack to the back of the closet? It will make accessing the coats and the broom etc much easier
It might be a hazard for their heads though....
Ya it doesn’t really make sense to have it at the front, huge waste of space and it going to make grading the broom and mop annoying
I’d go pre holidays and pre planting. So October and March. For me.
Becky you are doing awesome.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💙💚🥰🤗
@@madgevanness4011 In the midwest we do 'spring and fall' cleaning...which lines up with post gardening/preservation and just before gardening season. My guess is each region of the country calls it something different, but it all means the same thing. I love seeing her wear the baby!
Almond extract is also great in the cranberry bread
I am 51 years old and you add ingredients like I do and I love it. If you don't have something or you're low on something and don't want to use it up then use an alternative. Love watching your videos.
I am incredibly lucky in that my husband loads the dishwasher and I unload it. That way I (the cook) know where all the things are when I'm trying to cook and he doesn't get yelled at for putting things in the wrong place :)
Great timing 😊 I just got a custard pie in the oven and it’s time to clean up!
If you make potato soup, don't use the canned potaoes... they will keep. Use the fresh potaoes because they will go bad sooner.
I don’t even have a kitchen lol
N see none in my future even at 58
Maranatha Messiah!
We are currently building our home, it’s NOT going to be huge, but I knew I wanted an Island…& I am copying the Baking Drawer’s. They just seem so efficient!
I love that big kitchen window.
I have textured walls and I use command products...I have a light texture and they work great!
@@rosemartin611 looks like I’ll be buying a command hook and testing it. Thank you :-)
You mentioned the pretty flakes being a benefit of zesting the orange so in case you didn't know - orange zest will give that cake WAY more orange flavor than the juice!
Smile!
In your coat closet. You could use a tension rod for when you have company over to hang their coats. And take it down. When not in use.🙂
agree with Julie and comments..move a rod to back across closet shoe stand under it, can stack extra things behind and out of sight if needed..that stand in front of closet and all wasted space behind it bothers my visual sense lol .... do luv the baking drawers and if I ever redid my kitchen would def put drawers in the island instead of cupboard
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to make these videos for us
I feel Josh’s pain. 🤣
You are so productive Becky I certainly wish I was
😂😂😂😂😂
🤣😆🤣 Right, no fun at all.
Ugh mine does this too. Makes me pull my hair out esp when he tries to "help" with the laundry. Smh
Thank you
I put off watching this last night because I just knew I'd end up pulling my kitchen apart to clean and reorganise.
I love this family. They remind me of the families in the 50s.
I always tell my husband if he wants the cupboard straightened up, more power to him and he can do it lol. You do alot girl.
Exactly!! “He’s helping” so what are u doing, are u helping too😒
You are one of my TOP 5 Homesteaders to watch.
The bottle has a lid that locks down when not in use..
@@AB-ol5uz I know but it’s generally not on the bottle.
Use the last hook for the shop broom!
Hey Becky!
If you keep the yeast in the fridge instead of room temp, it will last for months and months! You’ll never have to test if your yeast is alive!
I also have never had any issues with condensation, etc.
But if you put it in a mason jar in the freezer it will last for years...I have some that is 11 years old and never had a problem with it yet 😊
Hi Becky. Have you considered lining your drawers with liners?
It not only protects your drawers but it’s so much more easier to clean.
Love your cranberry recipes lately. I wish I had all your drawers and cupboards. I have a small kitchen and my overflow goes in my basement. Yeck! Moving soon and paring down to my basic necessities.
I ordered the storage containers that you recommended. Am looking forward to reorganizing my kitchen and its storage cabinets.
It brings me such joy seeing those baby feet sticking out from your carrier. Precious
I use the tiny commando hooks and hang them on the inside of the cupboard above where my stand mixer is and where the flour sits. It’s so nice to have them out of a drawer. I also do the same for oven
Mits on the inside of the drawer closest to the oven where the spices are .
You always do a good job keeping it real and showing the before and after.😊
You did it, Becky!
Beautiful kitchen. Thanks for your inspiration and great ideas. I been watching your old freezer meal videos because I’m so busy I need quick meals ❤
Prayers for you Jenel, anxiety is terrible!
I learned to put things were they are assigned makes it easier in long run. Then just stuffing stuff does.
My kitchen is the size of a postage stamp.... your kitchen makes me a bit envious!
Turn the pot lid upsidedown within the pot to make a more streamlined fit.
Yes, stuffing things is a really bad habit! Good for you for fixing it!
Perfect inspiration and motivation!! I love making my kitchen more efficient. I'm tackling my pantry cabinets this weekend. Thanks Becky!!
It’s an egg slicer too , it’s great to have stuff where’s its most useful
And mushroom slicer!
@@kaleigh4081 ooo hadn’t thought of that must give it a go lol
I'm about to move house and downsize a bit so watching your organisation is giving me ideas other than baking. I love the ways I can use these ideas to help my church
