Kagurabachi (カグラバチ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takeru Hokazono. It has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since September 2023, with its chapters collected in five tankōbon volumes as of December 2024.SynopsisChihiro Rokuhira is the son of Kunishige Rokuhira, a renowned blacksmith who forged six enchanted blades that were instrumental in ending the Seitei War. After living in hiding, the Rokuhiras are discovered and attacked by a criminal gang of sorcerers called the Hishaku. The Hishaku murder Kunishige and then steal the Enchanted Blades. Armed with a seventh enchanted blade called Enten, Chihiro embarks on a bloody path of vengeance and justice to destroy the Hishaku and reclaim the stolen blades.

sojo was a genius sorcerer before cloud gouger, not a swordsman. was in the same boat as chihiro where he was relying on mainly his battle instincts and the blades abilities instead of straight up sword technique. also didnt even have cloud gouger for years like chihiro, he’ll survive the agenda wars easily

Man I’m just saying when Chihiro finally recontracts with Enten with all the sword stuff he’s learning it’s going to be so darn hype
Idk if anyone else is noticing this but i'm loving Chihiro and Kagurabachi’s ties to Sekiro, that thing about becoming a Samurai to defend Hakuri really solidified it for me, they're kinda hard to notice but:
• Superpowered Swords that can destroy civilization as we know it
• Chihiro fought a lightning user with one of those superpowered swords and lost the first time and lost an arm against em too, also *Genichi* Sojo and *Genichiro* Ashina… think about that for a second 😐
• Chihiro has a friend who's extremely valuable to his end goal and the overall plot of the story
• And he's going up against Sorcery using Crackheads that use an intricate mix of martial arts and said sorcery to fight and kill him.
Peak Story, love the brotherly bond between Chihiro and Hakuri, Hokazono is cookin'.
i think this Arc i like to Titled "the Matsumis Hostage" Will explore Chihiro's Growth as he now has to Work Harder to Master the Sword and became a team Player.
Considering he has Always been Talent and Lineage Power all the Time he is going to learn to Work Hard and became a Full on Work Hard Shonen MC.
Imma be honest, I completely forgot about the koi turning to dragons thing, for some reason I thought Chihiro would just use goldfish for the entire manga
