Great input for non-residents and U.S. residents will most always start as a single-member LLC disregarded and have the option to make a late S election later in the U.S. Another great video, Jim!
Thanks for great video. ❤I heard that SMLLC and MMLLC can switch with each other automatically under some circumstances, and I found some words about that on IRS form. I can't find pratical example though.😅
I run an HOA based in Mexico. We have homeowners who are from both US & Mexico. The legal entity is Mexican with Mexican ID (RFC) as a legal Association. Our only income is Dues, which are expended, except for a reserve. We want to make it easier for US members to pay dues online, on our website, without international bank transfers, using their credit/ debit cards as if we were any other Point of Sale transaction. Can we set up as a foreign owned LLC to accept payments, and mostly pass them through to our Mexican Association account in Mexico. Or other option you recommend? 99% of our expenses are paid in Mexico.
Disappointed with the service. Booked a call that was cancelled at the very last hour, and without any justification, just saying book another call lol. I won't, thank you.
Hey sorry that you had that happen. We are still working on the back end tech and sometimes there are double bookings. This isn't the actual service though. I hope you get value from the videos!
Hi Jim, I have already obtained my EIN by filing the form SS4 form BUT, my LLC is multi-member and in the section 9a. instead of "Partnership" i have selected the "other - Forgien owned disregarded entity" option. Is that a mess up? if so, can i fix it?

Thanks man! You are right!
3:13 mistake by editing team. James states W9 for MMLLC and the video says “W-8BEN-E”
Thanks

Can you avoid withholding taxes on stock dividends with a single llc, if you choose to have the single member llc taxed as a separate legal entity?
First I would like to thank you for all the information you share.
Where is the switch from smllc to mmllc video?
later this week
