On the classic camper remodel I upgraded from that old backsplash wallpaper to a Moroccan style 6x6 vinyl style tile. This stick on product added no weight to the vintage camper remodel and was extremely forgiving as their were only a couple double prints our of the 30 tile and they were all so busy that it is hard to notice imperfections. The classic camper kitchen looks so good with this upgrade that only took me an hour or so to complete.
