    Suspend SC Insecticide is a suspended concentrate containing Deltamethrin. Suspend SC's broad label includes the control of ants (Suspend makes an effective ant spray killer), spiders, roaches, flies, mosquitoes, fleas, wasps and hornets, centipedes, millipedes, pantry pests, silverfish, bedbugs, beetles and more. Suspend SC leaves a clear residual on surfaces that keeps on killing pests for up to 3 months. Suspend SC Insecticide is an EXCELLENT general purpose perimeter pesticide for use both indoors and outdoors.

    I love this stuff. The first application I was hesitant because I "misted" it onto the surfaces I wanted to protect. I think I put it on a little too thin because it didn't seem to have much effect. 2 weeks later I mixed another batch and laid it on thick and sprayed it more like a stream rather than a mist. Instant killed everything it touched. There were curled up ants in piles after less than 10min. Lesson learned. Mix it thick, and spray it on thick.

    This stuff works extremely well, I don’t buy the Ortho home defense crap anymore, it just doesn’t work. I’ve done my own pest control now for about two years and haven’t had any live bugs in the house.

    I actually sprayed them directly and after a while I still could see the roaming around.

    Spent so much money on cricket traps. They collected TONS of crickets but didn't solve the problem. Traps after traps I thought I just had to deal with the issue forever. Then I mixed 1/4 oz of this stuff in a 16 oz spray bottle and soaked the heck out of the cricket eggs under my stove.... A few days later no more cricket sound and no more crickets.

      Suspend SC can only be used to spot treat indoors, but too much product was used in this case. The highest rate you'd use is 0.18oz in a pint. We recommend using Niban granular bait around the perimeter & in a crawl space if you have one. www.domyown.com/niban-granular-bait-lb-shaker-p-1487.html

      Using too much insecticide can be unsafe, and it can detract from products working correctly. Most residual insecticides are designed to dry with a residual that is undetectable to the insects; however, if you apply more product than directed, then insects may avoid the treated areas instead of contacting them.

    • @domyown
      @domyown  ปีที่แล้ว

      Suspend SC does not provide an instant knockdown. Suspend SC will kill wasps and other insects over a period of several hours after they contact treated areas. Suspend SC will leave a residual that will last up to 4 weeks outdoors and up to 12 weeks indoors. If you can directly treat a wasp nest you can expect the colony to be eliminated within several days. If you cannot directly treat the nest you will only be able to eliminate those wasps that are landing on the treated areas and you may not be able to gain 100% control. If you prefer an instant knockdown we do carry Wasp Freeze.

    • @domyown
      @domyown  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically you would want to have at least 6 hours of dry weather or lack of irrigation after spraying a residual insecticide, to ensure you have enough time for it to dry and adequately bond to the surfaces. We cannot say for certain how much of the chemical may have been washed away as it would depend how heavily and how long the gardener may have washed the treated surfaces. If you feel the insecticide is not working and was removed by his cleaning, you can reapply if needed.

I am too cheap/lazy I wore shoes everywhere and once the fleas were dead I washed the hardwood but still not the carpet (Sun raise kill the effect over time).....why not because it is a freaky poison that your body can absorb and cause health problems (maybe death?). Everywhere it simply says, "Use a quarter to one and a half ounces per gallon". WTF? So, just arbitrarily dump some of this crap into water and it works? Clearly the engineers that designed this, no doubt, fine product had no say as to how we are instructed to use it. We're not talking about adding cream to coffee, it's not a matter of personal preference, it's a matter of why you would use one amount versus another amount and that is explained nowhere! Yeah it's a toxic substance that has the possibility to be found to cause health issues in maybe like 20 years. However maybe it won't if you're careful.
      I used it 6 years ago along with DE powder and Precor IGR to kill fleas. The battle was long ~2 months but I won. Btw the natural ways are safer but not as strong and you need to really be on point with vacuuming daily and crap. You still need to with insecticides but they last longer.
      At a certain point you will use anything that says it's reasonably safe to rid yourself of parasites. They will tank your sanity in no time flat. Especially if you are responsible and are careful what you do to limit giving them to others.
