This actually IS a tiny, eclectic and amazing space. So tired of seeing these huge places where the people living in it describe it as being 'tiny'. It actually takes wit to make a tiny space functional and livable. Hats off to Jen for her creativity!!
naturegirl2110, I don't think changing the bed linens would be that difficult. There is space on either side of the bed and at the foot of the bed so there should be enough room to tuck the sheets in. I think it's adorable and cozy, but I am not sure I would like to live in a space that tight long term.

Wonderful little cozy place. good to have a roof over ones head period. so happy she is content that is wonderful to hear. I just moved to New York City and my bedroom is super small, and has a huge window. I'm in love with little space. ^_^ It makes you a minimalist, which is the only best way to go in life. I've lived in bigger spaces before but they just felt empty and cold.
I absolutely LOVE her space! First of all, it’s just her bedroom- it’s not the only room of the apartment. It’s cozy and decorated deliciously😍. She has fabulous taste and she’s made it functional. BRAVO 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I was born and raised for 15 years in 1982 Moscow, Russia, and I had to share one room with my parents. It was just a little bigger than hers, and it was 3 of us in one room-my bed was a step away from theirs. Now as long as I have my personal space, I am very satisfied. I don't understand why people have to spend all their money and be thousands in debt on huge mansions, when only about 10% of their space will be used. I have my own house with my bf-I have my own room for relaxing and most of the time I am either in a living room with him, or reading in my room. My other 2 bedrooms sit vacant, and I cant imagine having 10 more bedrooms. What a waste.
Maria Yoder We had 3-4 (sisters) in one bedroom, 2 (brothers) in another bedroom, and parents in the largest bedroom -- which wouldn't be considered a Master these days. We actually use the Master in my house now as our Quest Room as we prefer the smaller cozy (less noisy) bedroom(s) for ourselves. We also wore hand-me-downs for most of our young life and even today, still send clothes to each other. However, I think we do have a slight problem with hoarding; but not necessarily the typical Stuff i.e. more Books, Pictures/Art/Paintings, Music, Seasonal Celebration, kitchen stuff, vases. A good rule for de-cluttering is if you bring 1 thing in, remove 2. I'm a fan for Small & Tiny homes, though it's way too small for my husband - I like the idea of designing an tiny acorn house for our grand kids. You can still make a small space fun, doubly useful & beautiful to your taste.
I watched this many years ago and still think about how much I liked this room, so I decided to watch it again and see if it holds up to what I remember...I still love it
I've been looking for more info on this EXACT room all over pinterest and I found this just when I gave up! Yes!!!! (I'm moving soon so I need all the ideas I can get.)
I know for many people, this bedroom may seem quite big but actually there is really no such thing as big or small bedroom really as it really matters to opinion. However for those who say that this lady is full of crap you have to right to say your opinion but it isn't right to downgrade the opinion of others.
+princessptfo Major projects don't mean consistently high or stable income. You might work on a project for months at a time and then be looking for the next job. Considering this is New York, I think anything would be quite expensive.
This space is wonderful, what has done with it is amazing. It is always more difficult to organise a small/tiny space, often thinking out the box. I love her ways how she has used items in a different way, without taking a lot of space up. I also change pieces around in frames, inexpensive way to add/change decor. Xxx

This is so awesome. It’s crazy to see how people live differently and even though some see it impossible or pointless to live in its a space she calls home and is comfortable for her. I love her mindset. Thank you for sharing you personal space and story.
Compared to my room I used to have in Hong Kong, this one is big. Plus I was sharing my room with my sister. A lot of people in Hong Kong live like this. Small apartment and small room because we cannot afford the high land price which is equal to Manhattan with minimum wage that is lower than USD 4.
And I've been to Kowloon before (this was in 1992) so I know how tiny those apartments can be. I've seen a family of two parents and one child sharing an apartment barely over twice the size of this. I was amazed that the apartment they lived in had a bathroom and kitchen. I guess they were better off than most of the others in the apartment because most of the rooms were different sizes and theirs was the largest. One thing: after a week there, being in Hong Kong cured me of my fear of tight spaces! Switzerland and Japan were almost as cramped but I didn't feel nervous like I used to.
