I was blessed to be able to spend time with my family and friends this summer - two months to be exact. But before I knew it - BAM! It was the day before my flight to Korea.
I'll be in South Korea for about 8 months to play volleyball professionally for KGC Daejeon in the V-league.
Being someone who takes change pretty hard, this transition won't be easy.
I won't forget, however, that there are so many athletes who would give anything to take my spot. Out of respect for them, I won't allow myself to do anything but grow, enjoy each moment, and give everything I can to this opportunity.
I spent a lot of time this summer in the gym to make sure I arrived at my best. There's a sneak peak into some of my training before heading out.
Enjoy these small, precious moments of my experiencing South Korea for the first time and just being in awe of everything, including the ginseng!
Thank you, God, for the joy only you can give, no matter the circumstance.
I also want to thank everyone who has made this transition so much brighter with the love, support, and help you've given me. I cherish every bit of it!
