I used to speak to this girl from where I live on the phone, we met on a dating app, we had a crush on each other but accepted that our circumstances would never let us be anything more. She was a troubled girl, living a hard life in a cult type society because all her family are romani gypsies. If they knew she was talking to a non gypsie over the phone she would have been in so much trouble but despite this she still text me. I really learned to care for her after a while, couldn’t help but felt like we connected in a way that I really needed at that time. We used to go months without speaking sometimes but we’d always pick off where we last started as if nothing happened. One thing she’d always do is send me songs she thought I’d like, this was one of them. It was the last message she ever sent me. About 6 months later I tried to reconnect but she never got back to me. I know she would have if she could have so I guess I’ll never know what happened, I just pray that she’s okay. Her family were controlling scum bags and all she ever wanted was the freedom to make her own mistakes. Wherever you are Nadine, just know I never forgot about you.

This is my favorite song, I was in a really bad car accident where I broke my back and now suffer from PTSD and whenever I’m having a bad time I’ll listen to this song.

Narrow head made a huge killing in action sports culture a long with superheaven especially in the past year. I’m a skate, snow, mtb & big time motocross dude. Cool to see where the music gravitates to. 👍

I don't know why but this genre even if some people find it depressing, gives me so much peace, like the gray skies, the cold days and even the rain at 3 a.m the whole atmosphere just makes me feel calm... and i'm not even sad or deppresed.

I woke up 5 o’clock this morning with thoughts to end my life this is such a really stressful world and do I really want to live another 50 years in it? But this song has given me a really good feeling and gave me enough to push another day.
Never give up brother I’ve been in some dark places in my life but I refused to give up. We all have to die but I choose to die on my own two feet with my head held high. If that means I’m going to fight the rest of my life then I fight. Go down swinging brother and don’t let this world defeat you. And remember you’re not alone I’m out there in the world and I struggle just as much you do but I refuse the darkness and it will die with me hopefully 50-60 years from now.

The songs are about a number of topics in both singers' lives (Jake and Taylor) This song is about Taylor's little brother who was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident while Taylor was on tour. This song is mostly about his guilt of not being able to be there for him and his family.
