Lines like "i don't hate the book but the way that it's written" and "all of my life is a means to an end", while being absolute bars, also capture itachi's feelings while also reminding us that he will ignore them if necessary. There are many other parts of this song that illustrate his life well, but listing those would take a long while, and i'd rather play the song on repeat. Also, johnald was an amazing choice for this, but then again, when is he not? He is your man for emotional tracks.
