    I really want to get into running. I used to ride my bike stupid far on a regular basis but something about running seems so rewarding. I just need to work on proper technique first because I have a habit of taking really hard steps and my knees get sore :(

      I've always thought of trying to kick my butt with my feet to get proper form. You want to land with the ball of your foot first directly beneath yourself, any farther forward and you're pushing yourself backwards. There are plenty of videos out there that better explain this, but form is key. Good luck!
