Hi, I'm trying to mod Morrowind right now and I was following the "Morrowind Graphics Guide" from Nexus. I'm using MO2 while following the "Gopher" videos. I'm following his steps of installing mods via dragging the zip files into the manager and then installing them manually by specifying the data directory. I'm still doing the "essential" mods with bugfixes, etc. I'm wondering: How should I install "BAIN" files? They are usually divides in parts, like so: 00 CORE 10 FIXED TEXTURES 20 BC MUSHROOMS Sometimes there are also multiple "versions" of a mod, like so 10 Fixed vanilla textures 20 BC Mushroom Patch 20 BC Mushroom Patch - Smoothed 30 HD Textures I was wondering how I should approach such files? When I pull up the read me's they usuallly say to "download the parts seperately". Do I install 00 first and then repeat the process with 10, 20, etc? Or can I just select them all at once in one go? Thanks for the video, btw. I'm gonna post this in the main commentsection too, to see if anyone else knows what to do. Edit: the patch I'm talking about specifically is "Morrowind Optimization Patch", but as I've said I've also seen others with files with "double numbers" like 3 "10" options and 3 "20 options", so I was wondering if there was a main method for installings mods like this.
Dude, if every major mod program had a video like this, I would have saved countless frustrating hours of my life. Thank you very much for making this.
I had to reupload this entire video due to an update MO2 got that overhauled the entire Instance Management system. I took the chance while remaking this to try and make the video flow more quickly for those who are impatient.
We thank you for doing so. There's of course going to be those people who don't understand what you had to do and only see the smaller picture. This video is the absolute best one to follow. Especially for me since I was actually reinstalling this mod organizer.
RIP. But thank you for doing this m8. This would've taken me longer than I care to know in order for me to figure out what I was supposed to do if it weren't for you. You're a dead set legend m8.
So when I install a mod on mo2 can I launch the game with the desktop shortcut from steam or do I need to launch it through mo2 or create another shortcut?
Just watching this for Skyrim special edition must say really easy to understand and follow, thank you this has saved me a lot of time trying to figure it out myself!
I normally don't comment - but I just simply had to pop in and say that this is hands down the clearest tutorial on anything I've watched on TH-cam over the years. The editing, pacing and clear speech. Thank you so much for putting in the effort. Inspirational!
What a legend, this was insanely helpful, informative, and easy to follow! Tbh I was completely overwhelmed when I first booted up mo2 but fortunately that didn’t last long with the way that you slowly and calmly explained everything. Normally tutorials don’t give the viewers time to breath due to just how fast paced they are, fortunately you’ve masterfully avoided this and I cannot thank you enough for that.
I never comment on guide videos, but you're something else my guy... Its rare to see somebody be thorough about guides for different games because it seems like they just want a good video to place ads on but this video wasn't like that, you actually went step by step no shortcuts and gave an explanation for everything! Props to you my guy and keep up the good work, super underrated!
This video explained everything so well, I'm getting into modding and this explains just enough so I dont get confused or scared of messing something up. Thanks very much!
I agree with Jared, step by step this was one of the best videos I have ever seen on how to install a program properly on a PC. If there was an award I could give you I would. Great work, thank you very much for your hard work and efforts.
Thank you for this! Having bought the GOG version of Skyrim, and feeling nervous about updating Wrye Bash to accommodate this new version (since it manages multiple games), I decided this was the perfect time to try out MO2, something I've actually wanted to do for some time. After having used Wrye Bash for many years, I was a bit apprehensive about learning how to use a brand-new (for me) manager, but I checked out your tutorial, and despite the fact that I normally prefer written guides for things like this, since they allow me to progress at my own pace, this was actually PERFECT. You are thorough, clear, and you don't rush through anything or miss any steps. After watching, I've just installed the Unofficial Patch and a couple of my favourite mods with MO2; so far, so good. Cheers!
Am just at the end of 2 weeks of online training at work for new position.... our trainer was not bad at all.... but you sir are next level. Really could not ask for a better instructional presentation. Thank you (yes I know I'm commenting on a 3 year old video but I figure if appreciation is deserved it must be given... regardless if its a few years late lol )
Thank you for this easy to follow guide. I've been modding the hell out of bethesda games in the past but stopped playing them altogether in 2019. Needless to say I forgot a lot of stuff when it comes to modding. Your guide refreshed my memory perfectly. Time to start again!
If all the guides described everything in such detail, then everything would be much easier, thanks to the author for such a wonderful, simply the best guide.
Most probably everyone but me knew that you no longer launch the game from Steam but use the "Run" button, a filled triangle next to the word "Run", on the upper right of the Mod Organizer 2 screen. That loaded my mod into the game.
dude thank you. this is my first time modding and this video was straight to the point and not confusing (especially for someone like me who struggles to understand pcs) I am very happy :)
Just wanted to say this video was incredibly informative, I could follow on with just your voice but the visuals were amazing for when I got stuck or confused. Amazing content Subbed and liked :) Checking out your other shit now.
Thank you! I've been using MO2 for months now and had no idea I could change the theme. Dark mode makes it a lot easier on my eyes. I've also been looking for how to add more than 1 game and you provided that as well. Great video!
Well done. this is a great start. I hope that you continue on with different modding tools ( wryebash, bethesda archive extractor, bethini ) and techniques ( overwrite folder management, plugin/file conflict resolution) . I’d also love to see a video comparing the features of MO2 and Vortex.
bro your tutorial was precise and easy going , its helpful for experienced poeple , but also very helpful for people with little to nothing of experience like me !now I will search if you have a tutorial fo install Zedit because mine wont find Fallout 4 no matter what I do !
It's almost uncanny how such an old game still has an active community with modern tutorials. I was fully expecting a notepad-bandicam-complicated-outdated-slow-style tutorial, this was a pleasant surprise! This video made installing it... Too easy... Very rare for this type of content.
OMG!!! I've watched at least 10 other videos on how to use MO2 and I wanted to jump off a cliff with each one. but this video was 1000 times better at helping someone like me who knows only the bare minimum about computers to be able to get some mods going. Thank you so much for this.
I know this is an old video but I just wanted to say thanks for the awesome tutorial :). Now I've just gotta figure out what mods I want to play with again after years away from Fallout 4 😂.
Thank you for not making me listen or try to follow along with Gamer Poets video. I tried MO2 two years ago, but his videos mostly just left me frustrated. Your video is SOOOO much easier to follow along with and you have a pleasant voice.
Been following through with the videos and so far this is the easiest approach to modding. I'm not very experienced and Fallout New Vegas is a favorite of mine. Now I have a PC and trying to play without any adjustments is almost unbearable. Thank you so much for the vids, and keep it up! Would love to see in depth modding videos like these for more games too!
Awesome tutorial, Absolutely perfect! i never modded in my life or ever used MO2 but seeing this for the first time from you i understand it fully :D Thank you so much!
You Sir are so good at tutorials that I nominate you to make a tutorial for all these other wannabes on how to tutorial. Thank You! This help out a lot.
Thank you for this tutorial.... I'm a step closer to adding New Vegas. I will remember to add it as a Global Instance..... It'll be fun to try to get this right!
i followed this guide and everything is working fine. Thanks One complaint: I can´t listen to NPC speak naturally. I have to click each time they finished a line to listen to the next one.
Thank you sooo much. THAT was the clearest explsnstion I have ever heard, I now know how to use the damn program. You should make some more guides, or someone should employ you to do so. Once again THANKS!
veeery well done with this video and i am dyslectic even me felt very sure and understod it omg thank you so much being s,ooth and slow and showning each step by step and show what is what with the ried lines really well done geeez i tryied a couple of hours and yeah.. a couple of days trying figure mod organizer XD XD thank you X3

We know enough now, thanks bruv

This is how every tutorial should look like! Well spoken, well explained, well shown, hat down, keep up the good work and thank you!

These are the kinda guides that I like. Clear instructions on the proper section being talked about.

Excellent. I really wish more mod tutorials were like this.
Literally the best most clear and concise beginners tutorial for MO2 on yt imo.. great work bro!

You... deserve a medal, thank you so much for being this thorough and highlighting where we need to click. It's very appreciated.
Incredibly high quality tutorial. A lot of noob explanations, but as someone who was once a noob, it is appreciated.
This was exactly what I was looking for. step by step clear instructions, thank you!
These videos are a godsend. Everything is perfectly explained. Thank you
This is such an excellent and detailed tutorial. Thank you! Carry on, Waster.
Really appreciate how detailed this video is. I am stupid with computers and it really helped me out a lot. Thank you
Dude! This has to be the best tutorial I've ever seen. You have saved me a lot of headaches. Thank you SO much.

I've been looking at several MO2 tutorial vids .. this is by far the best and easy to understand.
i wish i could put a thumbs up on this multiple times. the clarity, the dry wit, there's even a flashback LOL. thank you so much.

One of the, if not thee best installation tutorials I ever saw. Well done!
This is the most detailed guide I have watched to date, thank you very much, earned a sub from me!
Man, wish I had seen this months ago. Thanks for a so very clear step by step. I'm switching from Vortex to MO2 so this is a life saver :)
If all the guides described everything in such detail, then everything would be much easier, thanks to the author for such a wonderful, simply the best guide.

This is a lovely video! If you ever have an urge to make a video on more advanced uses of MO2 I think it would be useful and well received.
Just wanted to say this video was incredibly informative, I could follow on with just your voice but the visuals were amazing for when I got stuck or confused. Amazing content Subbed and liked :)

Awesome work man! I approved it on the MO2 page. I appreciate all the work you put into this!
Thats amazing, thank you do much! Glad you like it.

5 hours just to come across you, my goodness what an absolute save!!!!

When he said to download the mod, he recommended i thought you needed FOSE to work mods in games using mod managers
@@joseph233382 what do you mean? You talking about when Gamer Poets says F4SE and it sounds like he says "fours"? That's what it sounds like to me.
