- Hello guys, this is just a quick how to get obs virtual camera on Windows to work on ome.tv hope this helps! have fun!
TESTED AND WORKING ON: Windows 10 and Windows 11
TESTED AND WORKING ON: Google Chrome
Backup your registry if you ever want to revert your settings!

Thank you for the comment, I tried to make it as quick and simple as possible. I think ome has it coded to avoid spam virtual cams.

I didn't get to save a backup registry, Is there a way to remove the registry key that has been added? much appreciate it!
Unfortunately not to my knowledge. The best thing I could think of is doing a windows revert back a day or 2
I followed each step, didn't work for me, it asked if I needed to reboot because of changes in device manager, I didn't as per the vid, I'm running win 11
I also get a spinning circle of doom on the vid preview, and if I close OBS, select my cam in chrome, then it works, but not what I need right :-)
still doesnt work, tells me You have denied access to your devices. I downloaded those files and used OBS with virtual cam, and i unplugged all cameras. Also no new camera appeared in settings

You only have to download once. But you have to deactivate and stuff every time if you close ome.tv

Make sure you're following the steps correctly. Most people don't have an issue with this method

Not working I have HD Camera 922x and nothing works I still have "you denied access to your devices" when I allow access to the camera
you gotta have your camera deactivated in obs AND have it disabled in your device manager, before opening your browser

hey! so someone has asked before. and what i personally do is- i download streamlabs obs to record my screen and i use regular obs for the ome.tv stuff

Hopefully you can help I used to have OBS work on Omegle where I can jump scare and switch between scenes but now ometv doesn't do that, it's there away around that
Yea, it used to work fine with omegle. But now you gotta follow this tutorial, download the camera files and deactivate your cameras like the video says before getting on ome
@@JesusPope Oh no I've done all that, I want to go do a different scene, but it doesn't stay on the camera scene. It wants to project it on ometv.
Like I could have two different scenes once for the virtual cam and the other the steam setup.
@TheSleepGang I think I get what you mean. I don't know how to necessarily fix that problem. But you could also download like streamlabs obs, stream from there with your stream scenes but then use obs to project on ome

@@saika2048 yes you can revert it by going into the registry editor going to the files you added then deleting the information in the registry

@@JesusPope thanks for replying, the issue is when I open device manager and deactivate camera it doesn’t deactivate it.
@coover9934 no problem I like to help. When you deactivate in device management do that first and don't have ome open. The deactivate in obs. And when they're both off, then open ome, re enable in device manager and then activate in obs and make sure virtual cam is on
@@JesusPope I just realized I was disabling the sound on my webcam and not the webcam itself. I did that because I don’t have a camera tab in my device manager. So I don’t know what to do now. Is there another way to disable it?
