Si DIOS LOS BENDIGA. Pero no es un buen ejemplo ESO ES ABUSO DE NIÑOS “CHILD ABUSE”, ESO ES CRUELDAD MENTAL “MENTAL CRUELTY” ¡eso no es ningún buen ejemplo!
This teachers dedication and love for these kids! There are other episodes where the children got corporal punishment for being late despite their dire circumstances. Where the teachers openly derided the kids for being “the poor ones” that “they just can’t learn well because of where they come from” and the classes seemed cold and lacking joy. This woman uses her meager paycheck to buy supplies, smiles and laughs with the children, engages them, and understands what they go through to be there and in life in general and makes class everyday engaging, educational( for 3 different levels) and fun. Absolutely amazing. I wish there was a link for donating supplies.
This teacher reminds me of my dad. He used to work as a teacher at one of those villages in Colombia, for over 25 years. He could only come home for one weekend a month since transportation was so difficult. God bless those teachers and children.
I am 15 and I live in Bogotá, Colombia, and I am lucky to have been born in a middle class family, and fortunately I have not lacked anything in life, I have had a great education, and I am very grateful to God and to life to be able to have everything I have, because I could have been like any of these children, who can hardly be educated, unlike I who have always been able to. I have always had hope, this new generation will change the history of Colombia, I keep waiting for the day when narcos who govern us will go to hell, and that Colombia can finally have what we deserves: Peace and equality.
This teacher is better than most teachers in Europe. He puts his whole heart and mind into teaching, for little money. God bless her and give her the strength to continue what she is doing please. ❤
The Teacher is amazing . Her ways to teach and engage with students are just fantastic . May God give every child a teacher like her . My salute dear teacher . May God protect her
I was able to experience this obstacles going to school way back when i was in elementary grade.. Its so exhausting that you have to go to school walking for hours.. We have to cross wobbly wood bridge walk along the muddy soils walking barefoot but still we enjoyed every bit of those hardship...Im proud that i was able to experience those thing which made me the person that i am right now cause despite of unfavorable ways of going to school I was able to finish my studies with flying colors... Hats off to this kids!! You'll earn what you invest buddies.. Keep the flame of dedication burning
praise the Lord you were able to thrive throughout those hardships. i pray these kids will make it out of this situation. have a good day and God bless 🙏🏾❤️
It warms my heart to see the mom walking part of the way with her..and making sure she has water. While there are mothers who don't even care to wake up.for their kids.
After watching all the episodes, this episode doesn't seem very dangerous it's just exhausting. But honestly, those kids are amazing and so determined to learn. Parents must be extremely proud of them. Little warriors 🙏🏻
It's not hard... I've seen these types of comments so many times in this doc series....I don't understand how people don't think about just contacting the people that made these documentary? Wouldn't that be a good place to at least start? The name is right at the end of every single one of these documentary. All you have to do from there is look them up online!!!! I'd be so curious to know from all the comments I've seen from people saying they want to do this and that for the kids...how many have actually done anything!!!????
I agree. First of all is the look at the location. Secondly see how much would it be to get an structure built with the proper judgement for the area and possible water issues and thirdly pay a company to do so by raising some funds.
After seeing these children and their families in the documentary I wish most prestigious awards like Olympic, Oscar, Grammy, Nobel etc., etc to be given to these families irrespective nations without any competition every year. Because they are all God gifted children & no help needed for them because they are already engineers doctors, lawyers teachers & many more.they are all graduated in Universe (universities). They are helping us. Truly moved by these documentary & I am very grateful to you all. Thanque .
This video reminds me of the times my grandma and grandpa told me stories about how they use to go to school in Colombia every day... and how my grandpa would always go bear foot because they couldn’t afford shoes, I showed my grandma this and she told me how lucky i am that I don’t have to go threw what her and these kids went threw everyday
And I complain to my parents because I have to take the bus to college everyday... god bless these children... I admire them all for their strength and courage
As an educator, I have mixed feelings after watching this! I feel inspired and happy for these kids buy also sad at the struggles that they go through in search of education. UNICEF, Colombian government, other NGOs and interested parties can make a difference!
@@Estrella2001 well there are people in America making a difference in Asia right now, and people in Europe making a difference in Africa. Geographical location doesn't prevent one from helping if they really want to. He could fly to Columbia to help, donate money to a charitable organization in Columbia that increases access to education for kids, donate laptops or books, etc etc
My mother used to ride a horse about 10 kilometres each day from the farm to school. I think this made her a strong individual. I really love these children, families and teacher who make it possible for a new generation to be able to have options in their futures. Great documentary. 😁👍🏻🇦🇺
Their teacher does such a great job with the kids! U can tell she really enjoys her work. The kids r amazing, and so very courageous. I couldn't do what they do, crossing a rickety bridge, walking in stingray infested water and rowing in an unstable canoe. I wish we could get updates on how they're doing now. I love this documentary series!
The film is full of lessons in all aspects. It gives vivid and hard to swallow truth about living by sweat. Juan is tweenager, however everything he has done on this film is by far the greatest lesson from the school of hard knocks. The teacher is so affectionate and so motherly, loved her so much. May God bless them all. Amen
I want cry cuz he looks like my little brother. I am honestly blessed to be born in a first world country. My mom comes from a poor village as well. Somehow she made the journey to America @ 14. I feel guilty sometimes since I haven’t become what she wanted. She worked so hard to get me here.
I would love to see a behind the scenes/interview with the ppl who made these documentaries. I'm sure they have many more stories. A follow up on some of these kids would be great too!
Juan's grandmother is a beautiful lady. Must be the close to the earth living. The teacher is beautiful too, and the mother of the young girl. Colombia your woman are stunning!
I’m going to pray for these kids . I really want all of them to go places , I want the best for their families , none of them deserve this , I regret complaining about things I have that they don’t , I took advantage of school , and I appreciate it so so much , Lord please help these kids go places and do big things
We all agree teachers are underpaid and under appreciated yet no one can figure out how to pay them more. Some country has to figure it out, right? The sacrifice this woman has made is inspiring. 💯😔
I am amazed by how diligent these kids are just to have an education. The teacher is such a hero to commit her time just to help her students learn. I wish them safety, health, and success.
I just want to give these kids all they need. A boat, a bike, books, paper, FOOD!! My heart breaks for them but I'm so proud of them as well. As I sit in my wealth of paper, books & comfort, these children risk their lives to learn the basics of education. Bless them Lord 💜✝️

@Waffles because kids who come here with their parents had to do this too.

Loving and caring parents and grandparents, dedicated teacher, brave children... Absolutely adore all of them.
I love the little boy. He told them his goal and I believe he will become an engineer.
Amen.
Me too. You can see it in him.
What a lovely teacher! We can see her passion 😍
She is ❤️🙏
This teachers dedication and love for these kids!
Dayana tú crees que puedes comunicarte con la maestra y dejarme saber via esté comentario.
I wish Juan the very best.. Hope someday he achieve his dreams.. GOD BLESS..!!!
me too he is a cute boy
Those grand parents are teaching him how to be a hardworker man one day, nothing will stop Juan.
When he said, ''when it stings you can die'' and he was still standing in the water, chills ran down my spine

Right! Cute Lil guy😍 he's got a great work ethic already these kids deserve so much more
He will become a great one and hopefully build a better bridge for the school.
Why on earth do u think he's not smart enough? Because those kids learn algebra on 5th grade. Vs usa kids stuck in game mode. Nah.
i am a dreamer too, and want to become an engineer, but sad to say, i end up a gin-gineer.. everyday i got drunk, that's why they call me a gin-gineer

Cried the whole time. I pray they have a safer route and they become great leaders and citizens of the planet.
Why cry now
I was able to experience this obstacles going to school way back when i was in elementary grade..

Would love to see the behind the scenes of these documentaries..lovely sceneries and these children are so brave
I like these documentaries but please how can we help these kids
My heart is breaking seriously
@God's Baby Girl same! but I seriously don't know how we can help??😓
We can initiate a project and NGO aiming to help these and other kids in need of help.
@@Ms_Tania and what have you done? If you haven't done anything then shut the hell up bitch!
After seeing these children and their families in the documentary I wish most prestigious awards like Olympic, Oscar, Grammy, Nobel etc., etc to be given to these families irrespective nations without any competition every year. The film is full of lessons in all aspects. It gives vivid and hard to swallow truth about living by sweat.
