Daemon sensed a great latent power in her that is yet to be unlocked and when she does can possibly awaken an Otsotsuki ability like Boruto with the Jougan. Since Hima has the Byakugan from her mother I think that her Otsotsuki power is going to be the Tenseigan since Toneri needed the eyes of the Byakugan Princess to awaken that dojutsu so I think the correlation is there 😀
