Really loving this game, most fun I've had exploring a map in a long time. Fun fact, Regulus of Reverse:1999 and Encore share the same voice actress, Carina Reeves, which you would have immediately picked up on if you had listened to the VA greeting since 'Regulus' is basically just Carina Reeve's natural voice lol. You can't escape the reverse rain drops.
I played the game on launch last night and it's immediately my favourite gacha game. The combat is the star of the show, very smooth, flowy, and responsive, but the characters are fun too. I think it's easy to get into because the dodging is very generous, so it's not very punishing.

Nooo what a shame! I wish I could help! Does the error have a code? Have any of the problem solving geniuses on Reddit encountered the issues? Hopefully it’s something they can fix soon!! In the meantime I’ll feed you gameplay! Don’t worry! ❤️😊
I think my issue with the character designs as an artist is not that they are darker but the fact that the colors are one note... like Jiyan is a great example.... it's not very visually appealing for his clothes to be the same color as his hair... and many of the designs are like that... although some of the more recent designs show more design color variation so its looking like it may improve. But it's probably fine that they aren't my cup of tea because I probably physically can't handle the combat due to some medical joint/reflex issues I have. I have never even been able to clear the Abyss fully in Genshin due to these reflex issues and from what I've seen just in trailers and the previews the developers have shown this game is MUCH more reflex intensive than Genshin is. I'm still gonna try, it looks too great to not try. I'm truly excited for those who were wanting a game like this with intense combat, but I will likely have to sit this one out.
Yes! I explained myself poorly (and I got distracted mid sentence too I think lol) but my artists friends said the same thing about the design! They did say the same about the recent designs! Damn! I love the “artist eye” you all have! 🤭 The combat is SUPER SCARY to me, so I’ll have to practice! I’m super sorry about the joint problem! Games like this should have some sort of accessibility option tbh… I know the combat is the main feature, but it really wouldn’t hurt to make sure everyone can play and enjoy the story and world… I’ll try it out soon! If I can manage to get good I’ll play all of it, so if you’re interested in the story, but can’t do the fights and still want to be in the fandom we can at least enjoy it like this together! I hope they add some accessibility support soon!
