I know some will probably not believe me, but I buried a quarter a foot under the ground, maxed out the sensitivity, set the disc. at zero, and had the 9 3/4 inch donut coil on it that it comes with. I got a repeatable signal, but did not get any steady numbers on the target id. I was impressed because I've never had a detector that would do that. None ever even gave a signal before. That machine goes deep!!!
Again,.. results can be controlled by the control knobs,... meaning you can adjust for deeper setings,..plus you can get deeper wide scan coils. Its a racket,.. buy their coil for like $180,.. or for $77.00 buy a deep scan 10x12 Detech SEF Butterfly and find deeper targets. But you need to have things burried in the dirt dime's at various depths,. quarters, nickles. Just like scannerguy1968 dose. a possibility of 66 points. Tesoro Tejon was the best at 58****, fisher F75=57, Nokta Fors Core = 57, Tesoro DeLeon =52, Tesoro Lobo=51, Tesoro Vaquero-51. But a bad coil and not tuning the controls right you might get 3 inch's from a machine capable of 12,...My MXT on several occasion's has found thing 58 inch's deep. This M6 is the same frequency as the MXT and looks like the same screen,.. I just watched a video where a guy has a M6 and loves it even after having a MXT and the XLT and he found a quarter berried a 12 inch's. So don't believe everything you see. 10x12 Detech SEF Butterfly and find deeper targets.

Nope, I don't work on cars. Quit purchasing the brands that required anything but regularly scheduled maintenance years ago and I always pay a tech to do it while I relax. And, using even better judgment, I switched from a Whites to a Garrett.
I am a panzy,....I put plastic over my detector,.... so the screen don't get wet or dirty. Detectors go deeper in dirt,..,....see soil can conduct electricity,......... and in wet charged soil you can get 58 inches deep,....... say after a lightning storm you might find a guys fillings in his teeth from the civil war,.... just an example. Also if it rains put a rod in the ground run a wire from a spark plug to charge the ground or use a battery. Then even a cheap metal detector can have better performance. That means air testing is just a ball park figure. and different coils can change the personality of the depth and sensitivity. The MXT,.... also had GND= it told you the ground balance,.........so that located Black Sand and black sand is where the gold would be,........it located alluvial fans as well,......and in highly mineralized soil at least there is another option.
what is this ! maybee the man has a tough job and is it impossible to get them clean.. we are men or .. goddamn pussys nice video man , thanks for sharing , a family member uses the m6 for a while now and is very hapy with it i can figure out why ! very deep and accurate machine he uses the 950 stock coil and gets easily coins at depth lets say 9/10 inches and in some fields even 11/12 inches i.ve seen him digging so i was there.. i am a tesoro user but the m6 is for sure a fine machine , i used it for some hours and he took my tesoro and still both wherr happy good hunting cheers

I have an M6 and I have no complaints. It's a pretty much turn on and go detector.
